Image from PTA's new one Inherent Vice. Premiers in a week or so I think.
What's wrong with Owen Wilson? He's made a lot of shit movies but he's a decent actor in the right roles.Just had a glance at the cast list and was starting to think it looked good, especially with Omar from The Wire amongst it, but then I saw Owen Wilson.
Shame.
I cant recall ever having seen him in anything and thinking he was good. What's wrong with Owen Wilson? He's made a lot of shit movies but he's a decent actor in the right roles.
I liked him in all of Wes Anderson's films, especially Bottle Rocket, plus Behind Enemy Lines and Midnight in Paris (although it's a pretty mediocre movie). Also think he's fine in movies like Zoolander and Wedding Crashers, for what they are.I cant recall ever having seen him in anything and thinking he was good.
This is getting great reviews, and looks absolutely terrifying.

Michael MannHopefully he's back to form here.

None of that has much to do with Wilson's acting. It's not a great movie and I didn't say it was.My favorite part of the film is when Owen Wilson puts on a Serbian uniform and a black ski mask and casually walks past Serbian forces, then takes off his mask, looks back in slow-motion and starts running.
Or when he's hiding behind a tree, sees his buddy being killed by the Serbs, and screams loudly enough to reveal his position.
Or when the entire Serbian army is firing at him from less than 100 yards.
Need to see this film. Limited release at the moment so not sure when I'll get to catch it but yeah, a huge fan of his.
Not sure if you're serious but no, it's nothing to do with the Marvel character. That's one marvel adaptation too far for me.
