Premier League Gameweek 12

Really? I think that'd be premature. It's been a largely impressive 2 and 1/3 seasons on the whole. Tons of new signings and of course the loss of two superstars effectively so far this year. You're still only 5 points outside the top 4 which this season means absolutely nothing given how shit everyone save City and Chelsea are. I'd be waiting till the end of the season at least.

Issue is Arsenal and ourselves have several key players to come back, they have sturridge. Can't see them challenging for top 4.

It would be utter lunacy.

1. He deserves time after last season.
2. Who do we get in at this point that's better?

If we're going to sack him, then it has to be done after the season. Any worse than 6th and I wouldn't be sorry to see him go, but unless we're lingering in the bottom half I won't actively be calling for his head for this season and one more.
I mean, you're getting worse by the week. I think Liverpool face real problems if they continue as they have. I think you can nearly forget top four this season. I can agree with not sacking him as there'd be nobody to succeed him, but if it doesn't improve by the new year, which is fast approaching, you would have to seriously consider sacking him, I think.

He was our best defender. Had injury problems but easily our best when fit.

And yeah Rodgers fell out with him just after he gave him the vice captaincy. Bit baffling.

Strange desicion I have a few Liverpool mates and they all really like agger and were baffled when they sold him. Shame for you guys as you could really do with him. Skrtel looked a lot more composed and confident when partnered with agger. It was a mistake breaking up that partnership by the looks of it.

They also have Stoke, Leicester and Sunderland next in the league. Should be 9 points there. And us then Arsenal to play. They're not out of it by any stretch, it would be foolish to write them off.

Apart from Chelsea, no other team in the league can say with certain confidence to win three matches in a row.

This next game will be interesting for us United fans to see what threats and danger hull tigers have to offer.

seriously. sacking him now would be ridiculous.

if he has any character, he would do some soul searching and make some tough decisions...like taking 'Gerrard behind and putting him down' for one.
It would be ridiculous as it'd spoil all the fun.

True, though I think if you look at Arsenal's or our squad compared to theirs you see a significant lack of quality. Which might be an indictment on Rodgers transfer record, though in his defense you could say he's bought more young players compared to us in particular. Rodgers biggest issue right now imo is the ridiculous expectation created by last year's incredible season. That sort of form was never likely to be sustained.

As for top 4...it doesn't look likely now but this season is beyond unpredictable so far. I'm not writing anyone off yet.

Molde won the cup, Carlsen won the WC, Liverpool lost emphatically and now Spurs are behind. Lovely day.

15,362 of my posts are me making bad predictions mate.
I know I know, like the one last season when you predicted you would score 8 or something goals against Palace!

I know he supports Liverpool, but I respect Barney.....good banter, and an intelligent poster...often backed with facts....

....to be honest I'm feeling a bit of empathy with him after our bleeding awful experience last season.....not a nice feeling...
