Bundesliga 2015/2016

So what the feck kind of lineup is that from Guardiola?
We ran out of centerbacks. Boateng is suspended, Benatia got injured last week and Badstuber and Martinez are still not back from their injuries. Oh and Dante is probably on his way out and no one really rates him anymore.

What qualifies Zorniger as a Bundesliga coach by the way? Has he done anything other than failing to get promoted with a ridiculously rich Leipzig side for 2 years in the 2nd Bundesliga? Never really understood that decision. I can't say I've followed Leipzig closely to form an opinion on his work though, but I'm not surprised that Stuttgart started that bad.

Dont you have someone good in your youth ranks? Or should buy a young german centreback, someone like tah, sule or even ramalho imo

The problem is that we have four first class center backs... if they would be fit...

Well, in theory we have 4 senior centerbacks and Martinez and Alaba who both can play as centerbacks. It doesn't really make sense to buy a young German centerback. I honestly have no idea if we have a youth player who's good enough to help out. I doubt it, especially not in a game against Leverkusen. Maybe we'll see something surprising like for example Vidal at centerback. Not sure, if Alonso should play there, but then if we try to reach more than 80% possession, we might just get away with it.

Oh and Steinhardt is on the bench, he's a defender from our u23 team.

Just returned home from Kickers Würzburg vs Aue. Jesus wept. That was terrible football. I hope, that bayern has a good day. I won´t endure another 90 minutes full of shit.

Ah Bayern vs Leverkusen. Should be good after a terrible Newcastle vs Arsenal match

But Badstuber is always injured, and martinez is a midfielder by trade. Although I suppose he can play there as well if he ever gets fit again. That just leaves benatia and boateng as genuine centre backs. Just feels a bit short for a side who normally plays with 3 at back.

okay let's try this:

Costa Lewandowski Müller Robben
Vidal -- Thiago
Alonso
Bernat - Alaba - Lahm
Neuer

Looks pretty awesome to me, anyone worried? @Piratesoup maybe?

I can't say I absolutely hate the idea of this backline... Alonso is the usual thorn in my side.

We never play with 3 real centerbacks at the back though, it's always at least one fullback/midfielder, like Alaba, Lahm or maybe Martinez (if ever fit). I guess at one point we have to give up on Badstuber, but that's really a difficult decision. He's clearly a great talent and buying another centerback would mean that the club stops believing in him. Obviously it's a big risk, but after so many injuries you kinda have to hope that it gets better. That again Martinez, Badstuber and Benatia are all out injured at the same time is just crazy :(.

Leverkusen's organisation is so much better than last season. Schmidt is doing an excellent job at the club. I hope they can't keep the intensity up for the whole game, especially because they had that difficult game against Lazio on Wednesday.

Douglas Costa what a transfer!

Costa, I love you.
Müller scores his 4th goal of the season already. Hell yeah!

Costa has been fecking brilliant. One of the most impressive players in Europe so far this season. He's using his great first touch and speed to get past his opponenets and has a brilliant technique.

You can´t leave Costa that open on the flank. Amazing acceleration. Hilbert should have taken the foul, though.

3 matches - United 2 goals - Müller 4 ;)

What's the point of bringing United's record up everytime?

Costa is playing like a world beater. I'm starting to really believe he's the genuine article.

Honestly, how is Götze supposed to get playing time in this squad?

Leverkusen failed to close down Alonso for our first goal, I think that was their big mistake, even more so than the defending at the back. Lost the ball in the build-up and just reacted way too slow to get back in the shape they need for their pressing.

Great that I praised their organisation a few minutes ago .

Shit league if you can play with 3 fullbacks at the back!!

Costa hits the post:

Calhanoglu's freekick:

I fecking love it that we finally have two excellent wingers back. The difference between this style of football and the incredibly narrow and boring style we were forced to play in the last few months of last season is so so huge. As sad as it is that Ribery is still injured (and I fear he might never return :( ), Douglas Costa was one hell of a signing and I love watching him play. Amazing, I hope he can keep it up and isn't just starting brightly.

3 of the 4 Müller goals were assisted by Costa this season, pretty good that.

That Robben dive i just don´t get it
