Bundesliga 2015/2016

Wolfsburg being still complete and getting the softest of penalties. Well done ref...

And the greatest thing about it all? We did not deserve to win this game. Draw would have been fair, but not like that. Ref did his best but we somehow nicked this one. Mkhitaryan and Bender with massive performances.

Forgot I only needed btts. Went crazy when Wolfsburg scored then when Dortmund scored again I lost it completely thinking I lost my bet. Calmed down then realised I'd actually won my bet.

Cheers, so everybody wins, well except the half a hundred people caring about Wolfsburg.

Well, you care for boredom in the league, that's just as bad as caring for the plastiques ;)
I'm actually a little bit glad that Hamburg beat you last week, that's how much I love boredom.

Wow, I mean rooiting for a draw in this game is bad enough, but rooting for Hamburg of all clubs, that goes a bit too far, don´t you think? Not cool, not cool at all :D

I have only one wish for Santa: Mkhitaryan's contract extension. No wonder Tuchel is over the moon. What a player.

Who is Wolfsburg's best player, purely in terms of this season? Thanks, just haven't seen enough of them.

Mkhitaryan is doing a De Buyne this season. Little by little establishing himself as the best in the league, while everybody's looking at Bayern's players.

the comparison with De Buyne is just nonsense. Wolfsburg was the definition of a 1-man team. De Buyne was everything for them and he delivered almost every week.
Compared to that Dortmund are a fantastic team with great cohesion, depth and balance. Bürki, the GK, might be the only weak-link. Mkhitaryan plays a fantastic season but he is just one of many great players. Auba is worldclass. Gündogan is back to his best. Kagawa is getting there. Reus might have a small dip of form, but he is still Reus. Guys like Weigl and Ginter are stepping up big time. Castro comes in and plays as good as the "normal" starters. Schmelzer actually looks like a footballer.

Mkhitaryan is a classy player, who deserves all the praise in the world but KdB was on a different level; if heshows his class consistently in the big games, he might get there, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

In terms of the season I'd probably say Max Kruse followed by Naldo. I thought Draxler delivered finally a good game yesterday. It remains to be seen if this was because he considered playing Dortmund still a Derby or if he's generally stepped up.

Mkhitaryan contributes massively to our defensive work while de Bruyne at Wolfsburg enjoyed the freedom to more or less just go forward.

Nobody said they are on the same level. I was making the comparisson in the sense that most people only started talking about De Bruyne as the best player in the league around this time, last year. Mkhitaryan hasn't been getting the attention he should, because of Auba and Bayern, is all I am saying.

Perhaps it wasn't the most apt comparisson. I was just trying to get this point across.

Anyone else watched Beiersdorfer (chairman of Hamburg) talking about the financial situation of his club (Doppelpass)? Any Hamburg fan should be seriously worried . He tried to sound bullish, but it came out all wrong.

Have to say you gotta feel bad for Breno. If he had burned down the Allianz Arena he would have gotten away free, but burn your own house down and you get three years. Frankfurt Ultras are real idiots.

Congrats! From a more neutral perspective, the noteworthiest was the yellow card festival. This means that Zambrano will be out for the match against us next Sunday, decreasing Reus' chance of picking up another injury by ca. 80%. :D
