FC Bayern 2015/16

feck off ;).

You know what I mean though, don't you? Emotionally? 'Pep's made his bed now he can lie in it' etc pp

Also we have Carlo to think about, I like him too much than to have the poor guy having to answer never ending questions when he'll finally achieve the treble that Pep won for all of his tenure

Actually no, but then I always expected Pep to leave and only hoped that he might give us a 4th year. I actually feel relieved that the drama is over and that we can enjoy the football now for his last 5months. Nothing matters, no longterm planning about the squad or anything like that. This is the team and they want to win 3 trophies and I fecking love this team, it's an awesome side with many great players. I don't give a feck abut Carlo either until the season is over. Under Pep the discussion was a bit too much about the manager in my opininon, I hope that changes next season again, when everything is less extreme, less complicated.

I do think exactly the same way. Yet my feelings have strayed a bit off last weeks.
I'll be back there in connection though as soon as we're finally playing football again, i.e. in a couple of hours.

According to Sportbild, Boateng is out for 3 months. God fecking damn

Oh no, ya poor buggers yas. It must be awful supporting Bayern atm

They're down to Badstuber & Martinez as their first choice CBs. Badstuber's got a horrific injury record too - played something like 20 games in the last 3 years. It's a crisis by anyone's standards.

Until the winterbreak we still had 7 players who did not miss a game because of injuries... now after injuries of Ulreich, Rafinha and Boateng its only Neuer, Vidal, Müller and Alonso. Always when you think that everything will be fine soon - there is still Ribery, Bernat, Benatia, Götze that will come back from their injuries in the next month - the next is injured. Boateng was the only consistent central defender we had in the recent months. Badstuber and Martinez are still on build-up after their longtime injuries and Benatia did not make more than a few injuries in a row without being injured. And Boateng is the only really fast of them...

Bayern needs another CB, you can't plan with either one of the three for a longer period of time. Especially benatia is a problem, he probably never played more than 3 games in a row for Bayern because of all his muscle injuries and you can be certain that it's gonna happen again.

Damn right guys, Pep's a dick.

When you send him to us, use red ribbon to wrap the box please.

You can have him. We'll send you a box of tissues in another 3 years when he decides he wants to move on to god knows where, for reasons none of you will quite understand. :)

Benatia? And alaba and Lahm isn't awful coverr

Benatia is not fit, is he? And Lahm is a bloody midget. He's got no place in CB. Alaba can possibly do it, but he's also too short for my taste. And his workrate is way too useful at the sidelines. I hope Badstuber's knee holds and Martinez doesn't do a... well, Martinez and gets himself injured again.

Still an upgrade on a clueless manager who nobody quite understands despite being here and having a decent command of English. You guys can have him (back) if you want!

Oh he sure is an upgrade. You'd enjoy him tremendously. That's why him leaving after a predictable 3 years is so painful. I wouldn't give a crap about him if he wasn't so respectful, overall nice guy and tactically interesting.

Please, dispose of LvG at the nearest biohazard facility. I wouldn't touch that arrogant prick with tongs, tbh.

Wouldn't blame anyone for writing this season off really. Shambolic.

Who else? Isn't it just Boateng.

 That's our most important CB right there! His long balls are a fecking weapon this season. Anyway, Benatia is still injured, Rafinha as well, so our options in defense are limited at the moment, especially knowing that Benatia and Badstuber are injury-prone. Shifting Alaba to the CB spot could work, but I'd rather have him as LB with Bernat as cover. Maybe Alonso as CB (Pep did that before) or even Vidal.

I wouldn't mind Vidal as the right centerback next to Badstuber, if Benatia can't stay fit. He just needs to act a bit more calmly than usual, so that he doesn't get sent off, but he'd offer the pace and physical approach that we need next to Badstuber.

Alaba - Badstuber - Vidal - Lahm is a back four I could see working with Pep's tactics.

We are so fecked...

I'm not a fan of panic buys in january, but maybe we should quickly try and splash some cash for someone like Dragovic. Going into the CL ties with Holger "Tough Luck" Badstuber and Medhi "Muscle Man" Benatia could end in total disaster.

It's very sad for Bayern. Great players with a great coach. But I can't remember ever seeing Bayern at full strength. Something is surely wrong.

You're strolling the league, again. Don't dee now you're "fecked".

Yeah, like I said, it's suicide. Just pay laportes buyout clause, there is nothing Bilbao could do about it. No seriously, i was expecting exactly that, not that early but still. Stupid to not buy someone when the only reliable CB is out for the rest of the season.

To be fair, Boateng might be back in time to watch the CL final fully fit in front of his TV.

Will be interesting to see if their injury issues stop under Ancelloti's regime. I don't think he's ever really had injury problems at his clubs before.

Javi just tweeted that it's not a serious injury. Whatever that means.

Our starting line-up today:

Neuer - Lewandowski, Robben, Costa, Alonso, Lahm (K), Müller, Alaba, Badstuber, Coman, Kimmich

bench: Starke - Thiago, Rafinha, Bernat, Rode, Vidal

Not sure how we'll line up in defense. Probably a back three of Alaba, Badstuber and Lahm, but Kimmich and Alonso starting together is a bit odd, so maybe one of them starts at the back? Either way, I don't think it'll tell us a lot about Pep's plans against Juve.

the good old 6 man bench. Never ceases to amuse... if you can't laugh, what can you do?

With Martinez and Boateng out, they are not longer a big favourite for the CL title imo. One of the favourites... yes. A big favourite... no.

They still have a good team though. And in my opinion Alaba is that hell of a guy who could even replace Boateng in the big matches. That man seems to be able to do all Pep wants from him. (Hope he isn't joining City in summer.)

(Hope he isn't joining City in summer.)

No chance. Contract until 2018. Why would we sell him?

Boateng just said he expects to be out for 2 1/2 - 3 months. Given our recent history with underestimating injuries, I expect him to be back in 2018.

Müller with the back-of-the-head pass to Robben.
