A reminder that you should qualify your own bias since I never claimed complete ideological bias wrt Pep. If I had a religion, sure it would be Pepism but that doesn't make Guardiola infallible, just makes him someone to admire - plus, no one is more blaugrana than him so what's not to like

It's about Bayern always starting to bottling if they get under massive pressure after conceding a weird goal, especially away from home if the opposition gets this massive momentum boost. The first goal came out of nowhere, without this the game would probably have ended 3-0 or 4-0.
Pep said it by himself, they need to stay calm after conceding. It happened many times before, for example against City and Arsenal. It has nothing to do with respect though, it's just momentum and mentality.

According to Bild, the contract extension with Alaba is all but done . Apparantly we agreed on the terms in a meeting with his agent and his father last week, double his wages to more than 10m/year and he'll sign a new contract until 2021. He was really the only piece in the squad I was worried about. So excited, awesome news.

I not going to be overly critical at Pep for "only" winning the league title every season comfortably. To me that is just as silly as people who say Ferguson was a "failure" in Europe.
but in all honesty, given the financial outlay, given the situation with German rivals and the team he inherited I think it's fair to say Pep hasn't made the progress Bayern expected

Bayern for a long time had a tendency to slip up in the league and let some team come out of nowhere and take the title from them. With the consistency they had in the league under Pep that was not possible.
Surprised to see Bayern under Pep being led 4-0 on aggregate. I thought they were supposed to be free flowing and full of goals.
