Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

If he said 'fermo' that definitely means stopped. Not sure how many different interpretations you can have of that sentence. What we do know for sure is that he lies quite regularly, so you don't have to believe everything he says.

Cant post the link but ESPN (Miguel Delaney) saying its now at a stand off. Highlights:

Juve want 120m plus Utd pay agent fee
Total deal would be 145m (Juve + Agent fee)
Utd expect to make considerable money from Pogba's image rights, therefore, additional 20m not prohibitive
Utd reluctant to pay it and want to negotiate

Pogba happy to join Utd but would rather Madrid and has not ruled that out

Contradiction? Is it a stumbling block or not?

Don't worry, I don't believe a word old wonky eyes says.

Not being funny!! But if you pay 120m I wouldn't be expecting to pay agent fees!!

Also if he is "Happy to join United but would rather Madrid" Do we really want him here? Would he not be kicking up a fuss to move at around 27/28?

Yes! 24,9% voted No regarding Pogba,so was wondering will mine vote push it to 25%...guess what 25% bitches!

I was wrong, AS are worse than The Sun,

Surely, no publication can be worse than The Sun?
The Sun make up their football transfer headlines. Literally, make them up out of thin air. Blatant lies, with no basis of truth or a source.
For example, I thought this up a few seconds ago: "Higuain transfer hijacked by MCFC. MCFC are currently in talks with Higuain to join Guardiola's revolution. Juventus are currently biting their nails, hoping Higuain signs for them, though this is not a certainty. Pep is now favourite to bring what is likely to be the most expensive striker in history, to MCFC!"

You see what I did there? The Sun do exactly the same thing.

Does he say though...

"We'll see, everything has stopped" or "We'll see WHEN everything has stopped"

Depending on what the actual translation is, it could mean two completely different things.

It's the former.

This is so boring now. If it was Bale or a proper game changer for £100m then okay fair enough but for an unproven player (who probably ultimately has designs on playing for Madrid) it's got all out of hand now.

Unproven player who has played major international finals and Champions League finals?

This is gold

You just gotta love the investigative nature of new age muppets. I bet they enjoy this more than watching football.

Posts like this are boring.

I think the quote just means that finishing the Higuain deal is the focus for Juv currently. Once everything is concluded they will focus on the Pogba transfer

And get 5 good years out of him? I'm fine with that. If Madrid want him at that time, then clearly Pogba is still a good player. We can ask for more.

This man needs banning. He writes whatever gets him the most clicks. There is always a spin on the truth and has nothing original to add.
Run by a juve fan as well. only merit that account has is that they are quick to relay the news/rumours, so we should really try and quote from the source and not his/her interpretation

I want Pogba, but I fear his next contract negotiations, with Real sniffing around for a bargain.

I can't help but feel that this boy is more trouble than he is worth.

No keep chasing the impossible and not being able to land these big deals that is humiliating. Vidal, Ramos, Hazard, the list just keeps growing for us if we don't see this one through.

United shouldn't chew off more than they can bite. Nothing humiliating about being realistic and saying if we can't get Pogba now we shouldn't waste our time on it. But if you drag everyone and everything back in such a saga again, you have to be certain you can see it through to the end.
If we backed out now and signed some body else rather than giving in to undue demands then for me that's a sign of strength.
And for all of those about to shout at me I'm not saying pull out. I'm saying that pulling out wouldn't be a sign of weakness.

It'll be done by Sunday, surely?!

Yes, Sunday.
Then Monday.
Then Tuesday and so on.

It never ends.

Pogba is on holiday till early August, so I am now thinking that this saga may go on well into August.

All of the very best, young players are in the same boat these days. The modern day footballer rules the day, not the clubs or agents.

If Pogba or the next big thing demand moves, they'll get them. Just like Ronaldo did, just like Bale did.

The shit storm on here will be fecking biblical if this doesn't happen, don't get me wrong I'd like Pogba to join but the dark side of me would also like to see the meltdown and when this all blows over (for better or worse) I guess I'll kind of miss this thread because when I've had a cnut of a day in pop my head in here and some of the utter bollocks written just puts a smile on my gnarley old boat.

Keep it up kids, you're doing a great job.

To be fair several other outlets (including footballitalia who is an aggregator and translator of Italian news) interpreted Beppe's comment's the same way.

Okay, lets say we pull out.
Who else is there who is gettable, who can make an impact, for £100M?
Would Madrid sell Bale? Would Bale want to join?
What about Muller - would that happen?

The problem is that we want to win trophies. We have the money, but we need to have the right players to get the job done. At present, we have players like Carrick and Bastian who are finishing their careers, in midfield. Morgan, who last season was invisible. Then we have wingers like Memphis and Lingard. That's our midfield and its pretty bad.

They were also massively Biast and swore blind Pogba wouldn't leave Juve. They aren't the best judge of character in this scenario.

So much of the blame over the agent fee seems to be falling on United for not paying it and/or Raiola for wanting it. But it's Juve are contracted to pay the 20% to Raiola, so they keep trying to up the required fee to cover it. Some papers keep saying that United has to work out the fee with Raiola, but if that were the case then Raiola wouldn't be reportedly meeting with Juve today. It really seems that Juve has been jerking us around, upping the fees every time we come close to agreeing. If we put together the various reports of the last week or so.....

United offer 100m Euros. Juve say it needs to be 120m.
United then offer 110m Euros + 10m bonuses. Juve says it needs to be 120m without bonuses.
United finally give in and offer 120m. Juve says, "Well, you agreed to that rather easily, so, umm, what we meant was 120m net to us after agent fees, so it's really 145m that you need pay."

United would seem to be rightly angered, and after getting yanked around like this, I wouldn't blame United for telling them to get lost. And maybe that is what it might take to conclude the deal one way or another. United may need to be truly willing to walk away in order to force Juve to decide if they can leave all that money on the table. If you're not willing to walk away from a deal, and the other side knows this, then you're going to get screwed on the price.

Delaney is a shite talker too. All the above has been reported but by known bullshiters and he even contradicts himself like a the idiot he is. "Additional 20m not prohibitive" then then next thing he says are "United are reluctant to pay" Well which fecking one is it?

Would rather join Madrid. Only ones spouting that line have been Spanish league journos, Ballague, AS and Madrid's mouthpiece Marca
