A year ago both Weigl and Dahoud were promising prospects at best. Now they are clearly on a level with Pogba.![]()
Does anyone know this guy??? He obviously doesn't know how Bluemoon works and how receptive they are to the 'rags' on their forum. Be interesting to see the type of hypocritical responses he gets.
"Are there any Utd. fans who post in here, who are also active on Red Cafe? If so, can you tell me what the heck that site is site playing at??? I have been banned, yet again and I didn't do anything wrong?
I joined yesterday and made a harmless comment on a thread about Wayne Rooney. Today I started a thread about Fellaini possibly going to Sunderland and that initiated a decent and funny debate. I acknowledged I was a City suppoerter, I filled in a thing on the new posters thread saying I was born in Manchester and will always be a City fan but I expect this season to be amazing and wanted to discuss it with them, etc. etc. They claim to welcome City fans so I don't think that was the issue.
Tonight, I had spent about 30 mins on a detailed post - again about Wayne Rooney and how I think he would be best off going to Everton - probably at the end of this year. But when I tried to submit it, I got this message - "Error, you have been banned".
I'm really annoyed because on that site, once you are banned, you cannot get onto a whole section of the forums, the 'Newbie section', so now I can't even see how the discussion on my Fellaini thread pans out.
Is this not a breach of my human rights!
I thought this country was one where free-speech prevailed?
If there are any techies out there, I'd also appreciate your input on how this happened. I did, thinking back, sign up last night whilst having a beer in my local. My tablet was on the Pub's wi-fi so, I assume it was a new IP address, not known to Red Cafe. The e-mail I used was also 'new'.
However, today, I created the Fellaini thread on my home PC - did that cross-reference my IP address to one on a database of banned ones, or what? I just think people should be given chances. Did they send me a message saying that I must be careful and post respectfully (which I intended to do)? No just a straight ban. Grrr its really annoyed me.
P.S. Just to add, the last time I was banned, I think it was because I dared to suggest that Marcus Rojo was a bad purchase, because a) they had to pay Nani's wages for a year to get him, b) because he had legal problems back in South America, meaning he was late joining Utd. and finally c) because he isn't very good. Ironically, according to the papers today, Utd. are probably going to sell Rojo, because..... he isn't very good!
I think my ban before that - and I can understand this one, was because I dared to criticise the holy of holys: SAF. I wrote a post saying that although he built up an empire, his actions, particularly over a race horse (Rock of Gibralta) ultimately led to the Glazer takeover & Utd's decline.... I can see why that annoyed them! But I think people should be given chances and the people running Red Cafe seem just too harsh."
No idea why City would be when their team is so good anyway. They have at 3 players I would argue are better than Pogba. Maybe they had plans of getting him for themselves. Pretty sure they were linked to him last summer.
Liverpool on the other hand I get. They're pretty much an irrelevance in the PL now and this just makes the gap between them and those they'll hope to be battling with for Euro spots even bigger.
edit: And City fans can't talk shit about any transfer fee after what they spend on Sterling.
Whoa there!
edit: And Pogba wasn't even the best PL based French player at the Euro's...![]()
No denying this one, I'm afraid. Not even the second best, despite Deschamps inexplicably dropping Kante halfway through the tournament. Honestly I won't complain because Pogba will odds-on be an absolute pleasure to watch, but splitting the £100m-ish fee and buying both Kante and Payet would have been vastly better footballing business. Of course, half the point of Pogba is the commercial revenue he'll generate.
Seeing as the only way to compare players who play different positions is on impact, I would take Aguero and Silva over him. You can make a case for KDB but I would take Pogba.Aguero definitely is. The others (Silva and KDB) are arguable like I say.
On top form I'd have Silva over anybody in England.

Bar this season, when healthy, Silva has had sustained uuccess of being the most dominant creative force of Manchester City. KDB has only been doing this for like two seasons.KdB is better than Silva. Unless you're talking about three year ago Silva, in which case three year old Schweinsteiger is better than both.
In his first season with the club, De Bruyne got 9 assists plus 7 goals. Let that sink in. <-- the feck does that mean?Bar this season, when healthy, Silva has had sustained uuccess of being the most dominant creative force of Manchester City. KDB has only been doing this for like two seasons.
Even in a average season, Silva registered 11 assists. Let that sink in.
Look my main point is that it is too early to call someone better than another player when they haven't been doing it for a sustained amount of time. Silva for almost 7 years has established himself as one of the Premier League`s best creative force that dominates EPL midfield's and defences game in and game out. KDB is yet to have that kind of success. In his first season with the club, De Bruyne got 9 assists plus 7 goals. Let that sink in. <-- the feck does that mean?
Idk I didn't think it would get this far.Right, it's sunk in, now what?
Agreed, but conversely to that, it's a flasehood to keep claiming a player is top class and dominating games when they haven't done it for 12 months out of sentimentalism.Look my main point is that it is too early to call someone better than another player when they haven't been doing it for a sustained amount of time. Yes. I've seen AI more self-aware than some of those guys.Least self-aware comment ever?
I am not a City fan.Agreed, but conversely to that, it's a flasehood to keep claiming a player is top class and dominating games when they haven't done it for 12 months out of sentimentalism.
Mosy of your 'world class' players of four years ago, Hart-Kompany-Toure-Silva, have been poor for at least a year if not longer. It's the same as me saying Bastian is still world class.
lets be honest both city and Madrid are far too big for pogba, I think he's found his level.
Poster on Bluemoon responding to a guy talking about people giving him grief since Pogba turned them down:
Yes, that is exactly it. Pogba just can't take playing for the massive massive giant club and historical giant that is City. In fact I think the only reason why players like Ronaldo, Suarez, Messi and the likes hasn't put in a transfer request and tried to force a transfer to City is because of their insecurity about coping with the pressure of playing for such a footballing goliath.
I am suspecting a few closet Rags on here tonight. First of all you need Scum TV to watch it or activity search for a stream
I find it incredible how City, because of a few good seasons, now consider themselves amongst the European elite and worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as 11 times CL winners Real Madrid.
The delusion us unreal.
He may not have had the best Euros, butyou could tell he was absolute class.
No denying that either, true. But I still think even that quality doesn't justify paying more for him than we'd have had to to get both Payet and Kante, or Kante and Mahrez for that matter.
To be clear, I won't exactly be complaining if we get him! I just don't like the commercially-minded 'galactico' business model.
The way they post, you wouldn't think that they're coming off the back of a horrific season, squeezing into the top four on goal difference, with a squad full of sicknotes, has-beens and overpaid flops that they can't get rid of. (applies to us as well, I know, although our squad is in a much better shape).
Not to mention a new manager who has never experienced the Premier League, and never experienced managing a squad that isn't full of worldies.
Transfer business has been poor thus far, and their top two targets are going to set them back £100m, with neither being anything close to a top quality prospect.

I predict there will be games where City will look like the best team on the planet and will be scoring for fun. But there will also be alot of games where they will look clueless on what to do and will be getting a very cold shower. I can see them struggling with playing on a consistent level and they won't be picking up 3 points every week to the title. I can actually see them having some really difficult times and Pep will end up being truely tested on his coaching ability and I think this will be the season were alot of people will change their mind about him being the best manager on the planet.
I think you make a lot of valid points, but isn't this bit pretty much every season for Shitty?
Yea but somehow alot of people are thinking they will run the league like Bayern or Barca because they now have pep.
I note they won last night so the first two leading stories are about their game on BBC. I genuinely could not find out their score when they lost to Dortmund. It would be funny if it wasn't so blatant.
It would be worth emailing the bbc and asking for an explanation, just to see what shite they come up with.
Not at all. Whether from habit, hypocrisy or just plain stupidity, I expect some sly derogatory remark about City's money to be made in the first week of the new season at the latest, probably on broadcast media.
Their mantra of 'United money good, City money bad' is ingrained in the collective brain cell of Napoleon, Squealer and the other hacks and is passed on to be learned by heart by the unthinking classes and taken as Gospel.
Did they win the Premier League against Galatasaray with that Ibrahimovich bicycle kick? Feels like it with the amount of wanking that is going on
What's going to make me smile is this season every time Pogba is mentioned during games it will be as 'the product of their famous youth system' with either no mention of the fee, or simply 'who came home' (as if on a loan deal).
Just hope yaya is fully motivated for this season, he could easily eclipse pogba if he played in the right system with the right attitude

Do they know how to navigate websites? The reaction to the Dortmund loss has always been there since it happened. I found out the result via BBC later in the day as I was at work as it happened. It was the main/top article for the rest of that day.

Who are they trying to convince?
Exactly. They hate us so much that they can't enjoy this period of success. It's pathetic and sad.Sometimes I feel bad for them. They're going through the most successful period in their club's history but can't enjoy it because they are so bitter.
Ragspiracy?Clearly that is a fake web page that you have just created. Rag!
