Was just thinking has he got leaner in the last 2 years or so? Maybe to make sure he doesn't lose as much pace in his later years.

Opinions are more than just your own testimony and looking up walls of stats though, you can't just disregard a vast body of anecdotal evidence because you weren't alive for it as that would mean no one should ever express an opinion on anything unless they experienced it first hand themselves, that train of thought voids pretty much all debate and discussion on most things. To brush it off as just rose tinted nostalgia is a cop out in a game with lot of history to learn from and plenty of room for subjectivity.

I disagree about the Zidane bit as i don't ever remember Ronaldo dominating a big game the way he did the CL final in 08, Iniesta is arguably better than Zidane and at his best he was comparable to Messi so it is not an outrageous comparison to make. He also left a mark on big games much more than Ronaldo did. I have said before that Ronaldo has played like Lampard on turbo charge since 2007, he

Anecdotal evidence is valid at times but not when making a list to support your own opinion. If I asked you the ten best cities in the world and say you had new York at number one, if I then asked what makes new York number one and you said you'd just heard it but never been your opinion would be absolutely pointless in that context, this is the same context. In the same way I wouldn't include on a list of my favourite 10 cities anywhere I hadn't been I couldn't include players who I had never watched properly when making a football list. Especially when the post was in essence to Criticise Ronaldo by naming better players, how can you possibly say player A is better than player B if you've only seen one of them aside from incredibly obvious examples like knowing based on legacy that Pele is better than david bellion.

I think knowledge and the truth comes from being able to concede that there's more to things than what you know and what you have seen and also that to form an opinion you need not always have to have witnessed it in the flesh while discarding all else. A little bit of perception doesn't hurt there. By your own analogy you cannot say Antartica is very cold or that India is crowded if you have never been there which is ridiculous and just impractical. If i say Gerd Muller was at least as good as RVN it's not the kind of comparison you made but it's still quite valid if I have done the required research to arrive at that conclusion.

I'm not contesting that any classic players like cruyff beckenbauer or even gerd muller ( who I know you're not advocating being in a top ten but is demonstrably one of the greatest scorers of all time) are not in the top ten players of all time. What I am saying is if I were to construct a top ten I don't have enough knowledge to include them, if my dad for instance, a huge cruyff fan, told me he was better than Ronaldo I couldn't argue against that. However if my younger brother told me the same thing it lacks the validity. I could say that antartica was cold because its an empirical measure, you can easily google the temperature there and conclude its a cold place. In the same way you can say that pele had a great combination of finesse and athleticism. However I couldn't make a judgement on him versus other players due to my very limited experience of watching him. For all I know Socrates or Garrincha were better but just less well rated because of a hype around Pele due to how young he broke through.

It seems that Cristiano was hiding image rights money in the Virgin Islands,150m€.
Maybe Messi's father advised him

That's a misinterpretation of the tax form that was released. The £191million are the total overseas (outside Spain) assets that he declared.

Other Football Leaks documents suggest that he also declared that he had £20 million in Spain.

Hat-trick in the Club World Cup final.

Clinical on the second and third. Needs to stay between the width of the goalposts at all times and he'll rack up another 100 goals in the next 18 months.

How many goals does he have this calendar year? Will he make it 50 for the seventh consecutive?

Think he's on 19 for the season, so I'd be surprised if he made it 7 seasons in a row.
