Television Gotham - TV series

S03 E11 (mid season finale)

I feel this really needs a rhyme but don't want to spoil it for those of you that haven't watched yet!

So, mum's the word until then, eh!

I see what you did there!

Gutted that it's over till January!

Last weeks episode was bloody brilliant (aside from the cringeworthy rhyming scene).

The day they kill off Tetch will be my favourite episode ever.

It's not reached the heights of season 2 so far but the sheer frenzy of it all has kept me entertained. So many parallel arcs that it is going to be an action packed second half of the season that could quite literally end up anywhere. I like that they have brought Falcone (Rawls) back in to the mix.

That Tetch is one annoying c*nt though isn't he. A face you just want to grind your boot in to. I think the swine has got in my head with one of his sh*t, hypnotic limericks. What an unbearable tw*t.

I thought Tetch was quite a good character initially, but having an entire series dedicated to him got so fecking annoying.

Finally caught up to this. Ive enjoyed it for the most part. Did laugh at the final scene though (even if that wasnt the intention). Just seeing the knife fall like that was too funny.
Also Jim Gordon is more villain than hero (or anti-hero). Or is he a vigilante with a badge? Barnes with rage was awesome btw.

Hopefully we see Jerome in the second half of the season.

Yes, been waiting for that return. Hopefully its not a lot of waiting and happens next week.

Zsasz is the worst hitman ever  His scenes with Jim were crazy in a way that didnt make sense but was entertaining.

(S03E12) Thought it was a little all over the place. Great ending though

Really enjoyed that episode.

Yay, he's back!
He's not back!
He's back!
Face off!
FFS! "Disco Vampire" … I'm really warming to Babs

 I was having the same thoughts through the ep

S03EP14: Roll up! Roll up! It really is the best show in town!
Whack-A-Mole! Genius
The "Bruce, Gotham has no Heroes" dramatic musical interlude (just before the Drop-a-Punk push) was a bit gay (guess it's Bruce's theme from here on in)
The ageing of Jerome's "mask" was extremely realistic up until it went yellow during the fight in the hall of mirrors
Don't you just hate it when scary Owl Court guy turns out to be good ol' Uncle Frank?
Nygma's teeth must be the most in-focus teeth on TV :D

Great episode, it made the chaos of the previous two somewhat worth it.

We all know that literally no one ever dies in Gotham so nothing to worry about there.

I'm convinced they have a strong anti-ginger bias. Jerome gets only a brief riposte after months upon months of waiting, original Ivy gets bumped off for some hottie ginge who in turn disappears completely for half the season and Kringle got choked not long after actually getting some plot involvement.

They skipped over the whole smashing of the glass owl but I imagine there will be a call back to that scenes importance at some point in the near future.

I'm also concerned that Tetch still hasn't been bumped off in all the carnage, he's going to make a Fish Mooney style resurrection I can just feel it.

Really enjoyed those two episodes. Big turning point i hope in the development of Bruce and what an ending.

It's like they finally figured out that nobody cares about Gordon's battle with his inner demons and everyone wants to see the path to FECKIN BAAAATTTTTMMMMMMAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

I'm completely opposite WW. Love the Jim Gordon parts, think young Bruce is a wanker. Alfred is the best Alfred ever, though.

Really love this series, the best superhero themed show around no doubt.

Love the dark and cartoonish style they've gone for.

I really don't like the actor that plays Gordon, which impacts my judgement of the character a lot. I like young Bruce, though a lot of his storylines have been utter gash so far.

Completely agree on Alfred though, he's great.

He's incredibly short, which should result in me being naturally biased against him but that anti-hero appeal is just

I'll warm to Bruce once he stops being such a naive wet blanket. Think that may have been set in motion by Jerome.

The actor who plays Jerome is brilliant.

Much better Joker than Jared Leto.

Batman, episode 1. haha. The re-introduction of Jerome was the best thing for the show, all his episodes have been fantastic and it works. Hes got the right blend of humour and whackiness with the sinister evil on top.
Hope we see more of him.
But its good to see Bruce finally ... well clicking. Alfred has been awesome since the beginning though.

"At least you get to say you punched a mans face off" aha. Also Barbara has been fantastic since turning crazy, compared to s1 where she was a bland love interest.

This show became so much better with the return of Jerome, was heading down a terrible path ahead of that. Need to get rid of the fat henchman and the two silly girls though.

Winter break end of Jan? returning end of April? These breaks are silly.

Yep, but for some reason a few shows are having another longer one.

Well I guess if it means we get another few episodes like the ones we just had (although I assume they are already done so it wouldn't matter either way) then I will wait as long as it takes.

As far as Bruce goes, is he ready to grow a beard and go play ninja with Liam Neeson yet?

Haha, not yet. I think Liam has been signed up for season 6.
