I think Ligue 1 is a clear step down from La Liga, along with PSG who are a big step down from Barca.

Just watching him now and he is looking for passes to team mates that they have not thought about making. I know it takes time but Cavani does not compare to Messi or Suarez. I like Rabiot & Veratti but they don't come close to Iniesta & Busquets.

PSG are a very good side domestically but Neymar is too big a talent to be playing is France. Kids leave france to go player at the biggest stages and Tolouse, Guingamp etc are never going to be huge stages. Neymar's gone down the easy money path but his talent deserves a bigger stage than PSG.

Ligue 1 isn't better than Serie A, just see the 3rd in Serie A vs the 3rd in Ligue 1 a few days ago.
Don't forget that Bordeaux, 6th in Ligue 1, was eliminated from Videoton a couple of weeks ago.

Too big a talent to be playing in France? Sorry, but that just sounds like you wish he was in the Premier League, preferably playing for your team. I think Neymar being in PSG is a great thing for the French league, I think he'd dominate just as much in the Premier League or La Liga if the team was built around him like it is in Paris. And he will have plenty of opportunity to tests himself against the best teams like Madrid or Barcelona in the Champion's League this season.

Makes no sense, because Neymar was excellent at Barcelona. He was excellent the past season as a creative force too. His finishing just let him down massively.

I really think the age of Messi/Ronaldo has led to so many fans just focusing on stats and they don't even bother watching games.
