Their team are in a difficult position now. A solid starting X1 which was doing well, now Wembley is this mad jinx, and they're bringing a few players in who may well break up the tightness of the starting group.
I have them outside top 4 this year. Ahead of Arsenal though!
I refuse to believe that Spurs woes are Wembley are as a direct result of the dimensions of the pitch. 15 of the 19 other teams in the league all have the exact same pitch dimensions as Wembley. For Spurs, and their fans, to use that as a cop out is juts too easy.

You take that and ass the much publicised 'Wembley hoodoo' factor, and it makes for an easy team talk for any manager. That's just my two cents but I reckon it's more than plausible.

I have not said that Martial would be eager to come to Spurs. Inventing things I have not said is classic you.
That's two games running now we've conceded a goal at the death, leading to dropped points. It's a bad habit that I can only hope we're getting out of our system early.
Again they were lacking that intensity of last year, that dynamism that made them so enjoyable to watch. For me they are missing Dele Alli, yes I'm aware of his 2 goals to date, but beyond that his overal game is lacking somewhat, he's not playing with the same creative drive and determination that has become a staple of his game. He looks to me like he's lacking in motivation which is a genuine concern, can't help but wonder why.
What would worry me as a Spurs fan is the way in which the team dropped back midway through the second half, intent on defending a highly precarious 1 goal lead which is always a risky proposition. They also looked nervous towards the end, uncharacteristically so, and you could see the goal coming a mile off. Poor goal to concede all things considered.
Reminded me of United last year, 6th place is looking an entirely realistic possibility at this point.

Have already dropped more home points then they did in the whole of last season.
Alli has been fine and has continued his fine run of scoring for us. It's Eriksen that has started this season in poor form and it's impacting the team dramatically. He had half a good game against Chelsea but apart from that he has been way below his usual fine standard.
This is what happens when you stand still. Everyone else keeps moving forward and you get left behind.

The amount of conclusions drawn in this thread are laughable. Its been 3 games, there is no reason to think Spurs will end 6th or will even regress, soon they will come over that Wembley hurdle and players will find their form again.
Conte made a good point, that Wembley isn't a Spurs' players' issue but that it will inspire the away teams, particularly those with players who are unlikely to otherwise get to play at Wembley. Makes a lot of sense; time will tell.
True. Little early to draw any conclusions but they have already dropped more points at home than the entirety of last season. Can't really better that now.

Sure, shame for them and I am fairly happy with it. But feck me, they had a brilliant home record then.
Nice to see them sitting on 4 points after 3 games. Hope it continues, I think we won't be competing with them this season as I see us more in the title race and them in a fight for top 4 but it will give us some cushion if we can pull away from them and Arsenal early on.
They won get top 4 this season and that's just not a knee jerk response after a bad start. They're severely handicapped playing at Wembley they have no home games, infact it probably gives a huge boost to the apposition playing at such a respected stadium.

He really hasn't, not in my opinion anyway. Sure he's scored a couple of goals, but you cannot deny that his overal game in comparison to the last 2 seasons is way off the mark in terms of productivity. That "creative spark" seems to be missing, the whole dynamic which sets him apart from your run-of-the-mill premier league forward. I'm not alone in this as various pundits, whoms opinion you may or may not value, have stated similar views. Something is amiss with Dele Alli, can't quite put my finger on what that could be, but clearly it needs addressing as Spurs, in my opinion, are an impotent outfit when Alli isn't at the races.
He was relatively quiet yesterday but by and large, Eriksen has been you're most outstanding play to date.
I didn't think Wembley would affect Spurs in any way, apparently I was wrong on that front. Clearly there is an issue, the players look nervous, less confident than we've come to expect. I'm sure it's nothing more than teething problems and over the course of the season that confidence will return. Poch will see to that.

See they've sold Wimmer now, not sure how Spurs fans feel about this, but he was useful cover wasn't he? At least if you want a squad that's capable of competing in Europe and domestically.
They've signed Sanchez and some Argentinean CB though, so they're better stocked in that area than they were last season, even without Wimmer.
Got to hand it to Levy, getting 18M for a limited player such as Kevin Wimmer. He has basically never done anything of note, yet they get 18M. Perhaps the going rate for any player these days, which is quite sad!
