Again they were lacking that intensity of last year, that dynamism that made them so enjoyable to watch. For me they are missing Dele Alli, yes I'm aware of his 2 goals to date, but beyond that his overal game is lacking somewhat, he's not playing with the same creative drive and determination that has become a staple of his game. He looks to me like he's lacking in motivation which is a genuine concern, can't help but wonder why.
What would worry me as a Spurs fan is the way in which the team dropped back midway through the second half, intent on defending a highly precarious 1 goal lead which is always a risky proposition. They also looked nervous towards the end, uncharacteristically so, and you could see the goal coming a mile off. Poor goal to concede all things considered.
Reminded me of United last year, 6th place is looking an entirely realistic possibility at this point.
