Agree with this, although I think Spurs window has to viewed as a club who've finished top 3 for 2 seasons in a row and are competing to win the PL and CL, and in that sense, it's been a decent window, but far from great.
Another facet of the Llorente signing (one which won't be popular with Spurs fans on here, but if you're realistic, is a good thing for them), is that you could say they've potentially signed Kane's replacement already.
If they don't win anything again this season, I think the reality is that it'll become increasingly hard for them to keep hold of Kane - with Rom at Utd almost inevitably competing for the biggest trophies with José, Kane ain't gonna stay there indefinitely, he wants to win things. And Llorente easily has the quality to be main striker for a Top 4 club.
Indeed, I very much doubt Llorente would've signed if he thought he was just going there to be Kane's understudy. He'll certainly be aiming to become the main man there - and this way, he gets a season to bed in before potentially taking the lead role next Summer.
