Really don't think so. Their defence is better than ours, their fullbacks are better than ours, their attacking midfielders are better than ours, their striker is better than ours. Only position we are better is out wide (Rashford and Martial) which is a moot point as they don't even play a system with widemen and in midfield (which is only significantly better when we have Pogba, which we haven't for large portions of the season. Matic is still better than anything they have though imo.)
They have a very good squad, they have arguably the best striker on the planet and probably the two best centre-backs in the league. People talking of overachieving are off the mark imo, to me they're under-acheving. With a very good manager and a squad of some top players, they should be closer. This is probably as good a team Spurs will ever muster, for them to be nearly men in their most dominant period in God knows how long must be frustrating for their fans. Not winning the season Leicester did was enough proof for me.
Is their defence really better than ours? They miss their best CB and go to pieces, we have barely seen our two best CBs but have been better defensively.
