Where did I say it was better? He mocked us for finishing 6th so I just pointed out that we did win two trophies to go with that and I stated a fact that they lost a cup final to their rivals. Matic was sitting in front of the defense last season especially towards the end and looked shite while doing it. Bakayoko does look like a nothing player right now and Conte either gets him to turn the corner or starts playing Drinkwater who’s hasn’t put a foot wrong in his limited playing time so far.
This myth needs to end. He was bad for almost 2 years.

My first posts on this forum were we’d be lucky to get 15m for him with the form he’s displayed (or something like that). The fans had no idea he just wanted out that badly.
I simply don't get the lack of playing time (or should I say preference for Bakayoko) for Drinkwater. On this season's evidence he is miles ahead of Bakayoko (though the later is a more attacking player).
Drinkwater was injured for the start of the season and has only recently (some time in November, if I remember correctly) become match fit. Should continue to see a decent amount of minutes from this point on if he can stay injury free.
Bakayoko is absolute dogshit. Drinkwater and Barkley are average and there for the English quota. Looks like a managed decline to me.

Imagine us United fans despising Fergie, complaining about him having a grip on the FA and all other sorts of things people used to moan about him.
And now imagine if he'd moved to City, or Arsenal or Liverpool and started slagging off United any chance he got. I'll always be grateful for what Jose did for us, but he has absolutely zero loyalty for his old clubs, and the pointlessness of it drives me crazy sometimes. He was absolutely worshipped at the Bridge even after that terrible season, yet he can't resist taking pops at us despite us not being title rivals last year, and this year neither of us seriously competing for the title. I have no idea what he thinks he gains by doing it, but what he loses is a massive amount of respect and love from the fans.

Considering Matic was declared the second coming of christ after a debut at home to West Ham, i don't think it's atall unreasonable to make an assessment on Danny after 14 appearances.
It's United fans and the media that can't seem to shut up about Matic and bring him up everytime we drop points making out he was incredible for us (last season), stop doing that and we will stop reminding you how average he was for two season's.
No, it wasn't. He was allright during the 13 game winning run but other than that was average and when the discussion turned to areas we needed to upgrade over the summer, Matic's position was universally agreed as the first port off call.
We don't despise him we pity him, he was considered as big a legend as Zola, Drogba, Osgood, Lamps, JT, Cech at the club, possibly bigger, he still had that status after his initial appointment at United (just like Cech still has it despite playing for Arsenal) he, and only he, ruined it by his disrespectful actions towards the club. Conte has outclassed him and done better with not only the base of the same Chelsea squad but better than what he's doing at United, Pep and Klopp are tactically leaving him behind at his teams two biggest rivals and to add even further insult, Wenger's started working him out. Basically all his worst nightmares are playing out, being tactically outclassed by Pep (again), a Chelsea manager and losing his hold over Wenger, all at the same time AND while he was suppose to be naturally following in the footsteps of the greatest manager ever at what is apparently his dream job, ouch!!!!!This.

I am not. Conte did want Matic to stay and help ease Bakayoko into the team but in typical chelsea board fashion, Matic was sold to Man Utd.
This is weird because Chelsea fans on here are usually critical about their team more than opposition fans on here but when the conversation shifts to Matic, they go weirdly deluded.

Do you even realize how illogical.your statements are. How is wenger and klopp well out of his way? Did you forget him beating Wenger at their own stadium which funnily your manager never does. Or do you realize we are sitting 2nd and others you mentioned are behind his team. You act as if he is a finished manager , just like how matic is a finished player when both are not true. Yes Pep is doing well but he is ahead of everyone and not just Jose.

The Wenger comment makes no sense (among many other things); because Conte has no idea how to play against him. Pretty much every top manager has found Wenger out, except Conte who has been poor against him. 99% of United fans say that Conte is a top manager and deserves credit for winning the league on the first go; most united fans will also sympathize with Conte because he has been fighting with the board (they basically overrule him when they want to) just like every manager at Chelsea.

He's still a great manager, just not what he use to be. And Matic seems to be rejuvenated at United, that's fair enough and im not disputing that, im just not having the rewrite of history of his last two season's here everytime we drop points.

No, but it's quite bizarre that someone comes on here to rant about Conte while the United match is on, the only times i ever even make reference to United while Chelsea are playing is if we are facing eachother or you have some relevance to procedings (ala the 2008 and 2010 final matches). Im not expecting you to "hail us" but i also don't expect some of the childish putdowns because i have the audacity to counter a post.

Sandro will not be sold by Juventus in January. Perhaps in the summer but I fully expect Man Utd to pay whatever Juventus demands and buy him. The Chelsea board never participates in bidding wars for players as they aren’t willing to stump up the cash.
