CL/EL Semi Finals Draw | Pool to face Bayern/Real in final

How is that a good thing? Quite even SF = Uneven final.
Anything can happen over 90 minutes

Normally with a 2 legged tie the best team will have a higher chance to win compared to a final as you have more games to assert your dominance and superiority

More chance of an upset in a final than a 2 legged tie

STOP THAT!

Nobody is giving Liverpool a bye, they're making the point that Bayern and Madrid would've been tougher to get past.

Believe me I am praying for Roma (even though I haven't forgotten what their fans did to ours a decade ago).

What did their fans do?

Yeah this is the best possible draw for Liverpool and hence the nightmare outcome for us, having the first leg at home is a huge advantage to liverpool too

Have people actually seen Liverpool's team?

They are so dependent on Salah it's crazy. They are an underdog team, if you underestimate them and leave Salah with space they'll kill you.

Roma have a fantastic target man, and a manager that will adapt his tactics to Liverpool. I would not be surprised at all if Roma park the bus and punt long balls to Dzeko and sneak out of Anfield with a draw.

BTW, away from Liverpool stuff, is this the hardest pathway Madrid took for the final of CL ? It's like they're getting the easy draws in 2014 competition coming back to hunt them. :D

PSG, Juve, Bayern then probably Pool in the final.

If they win it this time they're no more questions about them.

Hopefully the ref don't bail them out again with daylight offside goals.

Why will Roma do them? Liverpool have far more dangerous players.

Hope you’re right of course.

They will be buzzing from the victory over Barcelona and will have amazing atmosphere in the second leg. Being at home in the second game is a huge advantage and I think they will score at Anfield in the first game too.

This is not good. Ramos is out for the first game and Bayern will get a non existent penalty again. Vidal will also elbow people in the face again in front of the ref and nothing will happen.

Bayern will go out anyway and Bayern will say the ref fecked them over. Losers.

yes the guys printing/selling the tickets for AS Roma new the draw beforehand and just made a mistake publishing it too early... seriously guys do you know how ridiculous you sound?

"Liverpool don't have a chance", "No way they can get past any of the semi-finalists". Bunch of idiots. I'll blame every Caftard who wanted Liverpool to beat City if they end up winning the thing.
They should all be banned if it happens.

How many Finals have Klopp lost for pool? Im not worried even if they get there. Madrid will tear them a new one!

Nice to see the Dippers all underrating Roma (that's the team that just beat Barca 3-0 by the way).

A bit disrespectful to Roma dont you think. They beat Barca remember.

Graphic ready and posted online 1 day before the draw? And it's not 15%, your maths is all wrong. It's like 1/2000000.
Not with all the teams from the same groups and countries that aren't able to face each other in the last 16.

Roma are a good side but they are also prettt slow and have a few players in important positions the wrong side of 30 who will struggle to deal with the press or stop the counter attack.

Damage to be done in the first leg, Liverpool going through to a final where anything can happen. This is fecking disgusting.

Upsets are good?

Roma are having a battle on their hand to secure 4th spot in the league why Liverpool will have it piss easy and rest their players in the league to concentrate on the game.

Liverpool are favorites that's for sure.

Roma handled Chelsea and Barca. They're no pushovers.

This man. Why is everyone so quick to write off Roma? Quality side with a very clever manager. The Olimpico is not an easy place to win in.

Chill out. They are not winning the whole thing. It'll be even sweeter when Roma knocks them out now, and if not then seeing them lose to Real or Bayern in the final will be great too.

Stab several of our fans who travelled to see the Champions League ties in 2007.

Ffs... PSG, Juventus and now Bayern.

Where are the cold ball conspiracies now?

Real are the best team in the world, they should be getting the better of all those sides. This will be their most impressive title, irrespective of who they beat in the final. They’ll have beaten so many different styles.

Liverpool are the favourites to progress here.

That midfield for Roma gives me some confidence that they will handle Liverpools press a bit better. I haven't watched them at all this season but obviously Niangollan Strootman and De Rossi are talented players complimentary in style.

The fact that they were down 3-0 to begin with isn't that encouraging.

Well they were also 4-1 down to Barcelona and came back. Shows they have the fighting spirit which will help them a lot in the second leg if they need it.

They are going to beat Liverpool.

Well, surely not 15%. Believing that draws are not fixed is like believing that Qatar won the right to host World Cup fairly.

Is it still possible for Chelsea to catch them for 4th?

If they start resting for the CL and drop out of the top 4, only for Ronaldo to destroy them in the final, that would be quite a enjoyable month or so.

Yup I was at both games, the brutality that night from the police was sickening. After the game was the unsafest I’ve ever felt, always disliked Roma because of that experience but willing to forgive all if they knock Liverpool out.

Meh, I could easily argue the opposite for everything you just said. And being at home in the second game didn't really help City either, it's not an advantage if you get a sucky result away from home in the first leg.

In the current Chelsea state, there's more chance of Arsenal leapfrogging them to 5th than for Chelsea to get into top 4.

Yeah I bet you said the same in 2005 when they drew Juventus. And then Chelsea. "Hey if Mourinho can't knock them out it will be brilliant to see Milan stuff them". Don't be so ridiculously confident, they obviously have a very good chance now.

Go Bayern.

People on here wanting Liverpool to beat City didn't have any actual effect on the result!
