It's the 6th cup final in 2 years
I honestly did not think we would get back into the game after first 20 min. But credit to the players for sticking at it and showing the quality that we all know they possess.
Credit also to Jose, it’s big game management like these that make him a winner but ok his teams are not going to tear the opposition to shreds but he once in front, spuds offered nothing because he negated their play.
Of courseAnyone @'d Glaston and Bollocks yet?
Nice from Poch to downplay a trophy yet again before the game.
Knew we’d win after Deli Alli’s terrible floss
Did he not get the curse of the Pardew Stupid Dance @ Wembley?
Please someone post Gif of that dance
They put the pressure on..
We completely stopped a very good Spurs side in a semi final... Not sure what I'd rank above it.
So frustrating we can’t perform at that tempo week in week out
Not dancing now are we Alli?
I think the plan was to contain them for that period. Jose was fuming that Young was so far out of position for the first. But he knew that they’d run out of ideas just as they did last yearCredit to Jose and the team after a dodgy first 20/25mins we made that look really easy and straightforward for a FA Cup Semi
Remember how important was a 1st trophy under Fergie and it was a FA cup which started our domination.Yeah I found that odd. No doubting his ability as a manager, but this was a chance to get to a final against a team you twatted 3-1 at the Bridge or Southampton. A trophy to really lay the foundations for a new future at Spurs. As it is, it's the same old.
For me, he lacks the necessary winning mentality to ever succeed at the highest level of football
He probably wont win a thing and will leave Spurs. Him or his best players first. Or both. Its bizarre isnt it? He shouldn't be desperate to win something (anything), but always plays weakened sides or downplays games in the build up. Strange mentality.
Today highlighted how they’ve ruined the FA Cup final as an occasion by having the semis at Wembley. That felt like a final.
Well, we can't. For some reason, we run less than most teams on average, so an effort like today requires a monumental effort.
Marketing guys at the FAHave to agree with that. Who the feck came up with that ?
