Fantasy Premier League 18/19

I'm not sure he knows what sacrifice means. This is like the opposite of that. I'll be watching the Arsenal game and keeping a close eye on his position.
 
Gosh, if Bernardo is close to rise I will seriously consider Siggy->Bernardo Silva for -4 before the upcoming gameweek. By no means nailed, but with KDB out I fancy him to start a few games...
 
Simply do the Eriksen for De Bruyne swap or take an additional 4 pt hit to replace Bellerin, De Bruyne and the useless 4.5 ST to get Azpi/Walker, Jota/Maddison and Zaha and move to a 3-4-3 instead of a 4-4-2?

I'd wait another week for that. Don't fancy much from Zaha this weekend. Azpi is playing Arsenal although Walker is a good shout and we still haven't seen enough of Jota/Maddison to make a call on it imo.

I'm holding this week and will almost certainly get Zaha in after the Liverpool game with 2/3 transfers for a mini restructure. Thinking King and Davies out for Zaha and Luiz at the moment. If Richarlison has another big weekend I might have to get him in too. Annoyingly the only way I could get him in now would be for Bernardo Silva though which I'm loathe to do. Might have to work out another way...

Personally I'd be inclined to just do Eriksen transfer and not take a points hit. He will be up for as one of the top scoring midfielders. If you could and get Jota/Maddison and Zaha you take the extra hits and potentially end up transferring both out in 3-4 weeks.

Thing is, I need to act on the De Bruyne replacement now. If I just do the Eriksen swap for instance, I cant do the 3 man reshuffle again next week because I'd need to take multiple hits. Doing the reshuffle now is just a 4pt hit.

And yeah, wouldnt swap out B.Silva atm btw, he'll get plenty of game time with De Bruyne out.

Yeah, that's a possibility tbf but then you're into WC territory by then so it doesnt really matter.

I'm confused as to how you can swap 3 players this week for only a 4 point hit? But yeah definitely get De Bruyne out for someone this week whatever you do.

Additional 4 pt hit I mean. I have to replace De Bruyne taking a 4 pt hit anyways so options are to do 2 transfers now and use the free transfer next week to replace 3 players at a 8 pt cost vs just swapping De Bruyne for Eriksen at 4 pt and keeping the free transfer for next week and see how it goes.

It's tough because I don't want to get rid of Pogba (reckon he will link with Lukaku beautifully this season as Fred gives him more freedom to push up).. And Jota plays so advanced he's likely to get a big haul.

Ah I see. I dunno man. I'm trying to minimise my hits this season but you've got to do what you've got to do.

Before the weekend yes, just 0.1. Which already prices me out for the Sigurdsson->Bernardo transfer, if I want to do this next week.
 
Price rises are goddamn annoying in this game. They almost necessitate an early transfer which only makes it worse. And it's compounded by the fact the player you're selling has to rise £0.2m for you to get half of that back.

Lesson learned for next season is to leave £0.5m in the bank at the start of the season.

Very true.

Seeing the B.Silva price will probably go up tonight does make me think of doing Pedro > B.Silva and Lacazette > Vardy...but it would be 8pt hit! ridiculous this early.

I would have liked to give them both another weekend to see if they will play but a price rise fecks that up!

Cheers - just took a 4 point hit on B.Silva and Neves in for Sessegnon and Jota. Was going to hold off, but KdB injury has swayed it for me.

*Edit - also leaves me with funds left over.
 
Seriously thinking of giving the armband to Mendy. Don't have Salah and Aguero is in risk of rotation.
At the same time cleansheet for City is 90% certain + there is still the chance of assist or goal (2 shots in the last game vs. Arsenal).
What do you guys think?

Worth noting the figures on there include WC transfers, which don't effect price rises. So if there is a shit load of people who WC first week and brought B.Silva in then he may not rise....

Normally see it in international break a load of players at 100 for ages and no price change.

I've got him as a 3rd choice waiver behind 1.Kepa 2. Young in my draft team.

Leicester have a load of great fixtures and now could be a great time to take a risk before I lose him to someone else.

I'm still annoyed about my decisions regarding the City attackers but I'm going to stick it out for this GW2.

Pep said he can play Mahrez left centre or right. With KDB injured will he squeeze Sane, Mahrez in both? Maybe this injury will make him want to rest Sterling and give him a proper break not risking another injury? I dunno.

I have a bad feeling Sane will be benched again and when City are 2 or 3 up we will see him come on in the last 20 mins. If this is the case, I will get rid and put Erikson in. I want him for the Fulham game really because he had so many excellent chances to assist but it didn't come off for him.

I'm considering the -4 hit too, swapping out Alexis for Bernardo Silva. Gives me a fair amount of change in the bank too, and if Sanchez scores a brace or something at the weekend, my elation of IRL football will probably eclipse my disappointment of fantasy football.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.
I have Aguero, BSilva and Mendy from City and the risk that Aguero doesn't start is too big for me to make him captain. Even if Mendy doesn't get an assist, should be a guaranteed clean sheet for him.
I don't have Salah, have Mane instead, but I think Liverpool may struggle a little vs Palace, they will probably win but I doubt it'll be a romp like vs West Ham.
 
People thinking about captaining Mendy is pissing me off about not changing Shaw for him when I could afford him.
 
Way too risky to be captaining a defender IMO. You are better off hoping for attacking returns from your captain. I have given the armband to Alonso in recent years and it has backfired. One piece of luck for Huddersfield (ie 0-1 at Stamford Bridge last year) and you have blanked. Mendy also looked a bit clumsy in the tackle on Sunday so I expect him to pick up his fair share of yellows this season

Can't believe people will captain Aguero... It's like y'all forget who their manager is? Pep reads threads like this then assembles his team to piss everyone off. I will never captain a City player.
 
Does anyone know when Trippier will be playing again?
I have got him in my team, but considering bringing in Alonso instead.
