Alonso,Mkhi and Zaha will give more points over the season.Never use CDM/CMs in midfield like Kante.

Get TAA instead of Shaw the second Mourinho benches him.

First one although I'd have TAA in for Shaw anyway. That new Leicester right back Perreira looks good too for £5m.

I do think Auba is about to go on a run of scoring though. Trouble is you can't drop Aguero and you'd have to lose one of your big mids to get him in.
 
Cook, Ederson, Richarlison were due to go up last night according to fplstats, but are now under the threshold again. Was it just being inaccurate?

Yeah, Auba might go on a run but so will Aguero. Think Auba's run plus Kante and TAA will yield less points overall than Zaha plus Alonso and Mkhi... or at least I hope.

Yes, TAA does look good but I'm reluctant to triple up on Liverpool as I already have tripled up on City, especially as Liverpool have Leicester (a), Spurs (a), Chelsea (a) and Man City (h) over the next 6 games.

I'm gonna see how Shaw pans out and can replace him with Pereira if he is dropped.

The algorithm changes every year, so it’s never that accurate at the beginning of the season - although fplstats are probably our best bet and they got it quite right very early this season! So it’s never certain, especially if the player is on the verge of falling/rising. And also, transfers made on wildcard contribute less to price changes, so we can assume there’s been quite a few WC being played this game week and aforementioned player featured in them rather heavily.

Yes it's the wildcards! There is probably a site that tells you how many people have activated WC. My plan and hope is to make it through 2 more Gameweeks with respectable scores and avoid hits then WC...is this counter productive? Should I just play it now?

Current team is

Foster (Speroni)
Bellerin - Mendy - Azpi (Wan-Bissaka, Doherty)
Richarlison - Pedro - Sessognon - Salah (Kenedy)
King - Aguero - Tosun

Not even sure what I would WC to as I need a couple weeks to see if Pedro, Tosun , King are worth it.

I will bring Vardy in a few weeks.

57 points, much better than 40 in the first round of games but still bad.

I think it was a freak week though, only one player from my entire team (Richarlison) scored a goal and the only ones with assists were Mendy, Salah and Alli. Aubameyang, B. Silva, Tosun, De Gea and Davies only received points for starting the games, TAA and Robertson got clean sheets. Normally I would expect at least 3 goals across the squad and more than 4 assists, hopefully this team will give me an average of well over 60 points.

There's no need to wildcard with that squad at all.
 
86 + 78 and my rank in the Caf league went down :lol:

2FTs so Jota > Pedro and Davies > Robertson

Holding off the Salah to Mane swap but tempted to get Luiz to Alonso and Hughes to Mhiki.

Yesterday I had the option of Cairney to Pedro & DDG to McCarthy for free.

Would've been a good 352 but I don't trust Southampton & haven't seen much of McCarthy to pull the trigger. Also wanted to watch the Pool-Palace game before knee-jerking.

Any ideas for DDG, Jonny, Cairney replacement options with 2FT's? Not a fan of taking hits.

The highlighted seems a decent shout. How about B.Silva to Miki and Jonny to Pereira or Cairney to Fraser, and play 4-4-2/3-5-2?

Then you can do DDG to Ederson next week.

I agree, saving my WC for when it inevitably happens that two of Aguero/Kane/Auba become essential. It's a shame at the moment how Mendy, Robertson, Salah, Aguero are in so many teams, doesn't leave much to invest elsewhere.
 
Need a replacement for King as he’s shit. Also, Alonso a must now? People keeping Bernardo silva ?

Been 2 high scoring weeks with Liverpool and City unsurprisingly starting off on fire. If/When one of them loses a game it should shake things up a bit. I don't think it will happen very often though unfortunately.

Alonso is certainly getting there! But he has always been a great pick for FPL people just weren't sure how Sarri would use him, and it seems he has been given license to go up the pitch just as usual.

If you don't desperately need to transfer out King I would hold off, he has already dropped and will he drop again by the weekend... i'm not sure.

A lot of really high scoring teams in the opening 2 gameweeks.

Typically 60/70 points per gameweek would be considered good, but more than usual seem to be getting 80+.

I have both, but I'll be captaining Auba for the next GW.

You know Pep will likely troll you and drop Aguero for the next game even after he has just scored a hattrick, right?

Arsenal has fantastic fixtures now, and Auba will get much more space and chances than against City and Chelsea... before the start of the season, my plan was to bring him GW3, but since I fecked up big time and started without Richarlison I won't be able to do that and only have Mkhi as a cover. IMO Auba will come good next few GWs, but it's extremely hard to say if he'll outscore Kun who was unstoppable this weekend. Tough call, but I probably wouldn't get rid of Auba, expecting Arsenal to get better now.

I really want Auba till Xmas. Arsenal have an amazing set of games coming up and I think he gets more points than Salah would in this time of period.

Plus the extra 2million allows me to buy Mendy.

I basically have the choice of Keep Salah with an ok defender.

Or get rid and bring in Mendy n Auba.

People talking about dropping Salah... find it strange. Yesterday, he could easily have had 2 or 3 goals on top of his two assists. Madness!
 
Still pinching myself at how well I've started. Think I'm due a shocking week soon.

Cairney v Burnley (H) or Josh King v Everton (H)? Rest of my team picks itself but I can't decide between these two. Leaning towards Cairney, Fulham looked good v spurs and as their new signings settle I think they could get some goals against a Burnley side that will struggle this season.

King all the way. Burnley defence > Everton defence. Striker > Midfielder. As an added bonus I just transferred him out so he's bound to score. Thank me next week. :)
 
Just put Mendy in, seems like a no brainer as he's bound to get assists.
