Why can’t they say it when any person with even half a brain cell knows that already.
There is absolutely no positive in leaving with no deal apart from sticking to an arbitrary and meaningless date.

I continually hear people saying they are fed up with brexit and we should just leave. A classic case of emotional thinking with zero logic. Just like the referendum...

They can't say it because it destroys the image of utopia that Brexit represents. Anyone who had an sense wouldn't have voted for Brexit in the first place.
People say they're fed up because they think things will mainly stay the same as prior to Brexit so just get it over with. Surprise!

Not now, the time for that was May's 'falling on her sword' announcement which should have also included revoking A50.

The reason for, the holding of, the result of, and the dealing with the outcome from the referendum were, and a have always been politically motivated; its nothing to do with economics. This is something remainers have never understood and leavers always did. There will be a price to pay, whether its temporary or on going in economic terms is to be seen when it happens, in political terms it will definitely change the face of the UK, may even lead to a break up of the UK.

In my opinion it is all the result of the UK not having a specific English Parliament, to stand alongside the others in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast. Issues that were almost uniquely relevant to England and less so in Wales and much less so in Scotland and NI festered and became toxic, made more so because all the 'political' attention was focused on, what do the Scots want? What would the Welsh prefer? What would settle the Irish problem? etc. The majority of people in the UK reside in England, they should have had, and may still get, their own Parliament... but don't hold your breath!

I don't think A50 will be revoked but in theory it is still a possibility.
The reason leavers think it's nothing to with economics is because they either think it won't affect them or will be some minor inconvenience whereas most remainers realise it's going to a be a lot more serious than that. Much more serious and I don't think the Leavers will think the same when reality does finally hit them.

A no deal Brexit will shake the UK to its core and people living in England may get their own parliament whether they want it or not.

Of course it will hurt Europe. Which is why Europe didn't want Brexit and doesn't want a no deal Brexit. They're not the ones literally asking for it to happen.

I think you might be right!

Especially as a second referendum, or more likely a GE, (since Brexit may have happened) shows that only England wants to leave the EU and the other three nations want now to stay i.e. Revoke their bit of the A50 on their own, and/or return to the EU, if the deed has been done.

This could be demonstrated by SNP winning in Scotland, Labour (Remain dominated) in Wales, Conservative/Brexit Party Coalition winning in England and, well who knows about NI, depends on whether Direct rule is still in place? Of course this all assumes Boris doesn't get some sort of fudged outcome for the 31st Oct, that he can call it a 'managed no deal' but the EU still insist is a straight (no surrender) 'no deal', but both sides lap it up, just thankful to be out of the tunnel at last.

are the remain? really???? I though the policy was blue brexit is bad but if they won a GE they would negotiate a glorious red brexit? (that they may then campaign for or against)

It seems to depend upon whether the GE came before or after a 'No deal' Brexit and I was assuming for the purposes of the argument about the UK possibly breaking up, that Labour can't win a GE in England if its gone 'remain' (lose too many seats in the North to the Brexit Party) if its prior to GE, but might win in Wales if (in coalition with the Welsh Nats) it promised to take Wales out of the UK and/or back into the EU under its own steam i.e.as an independent nation, as its assumed the SNP will do with Scotland, if its forced out of the EU, whether by a formal WA agreement, or by a no deal scenario!

For all sorts of reasons (not just his own) basically Boris is right, Brexit has to be done and dusted on or before the 31st Oct otherwise an overtly political (never mind an economic) crisis will ensue around the continuation of the UK itself... perhaps it will anyway!
 
It seem that there had been a meltdown at the European parliament by Farage and co at the suggestion of a European defence army. Once more he likened the EU to a communist state and then he tried to ridicule Macron calling him the new Napoleon which is kind of ironic considering that his mate Trump had organised a military parade just few days ago. It strange how the UK seem terrified of a Europe which is military independent rather then under the thumb of third countries such as the warmongering US. Von der Leyen delivered a magnificent speech which was unfortunately heckled by the British MEPs and MEP Van Orden had the cheek to utilise that speech to attack the very withdrawal agreement that the UK had previously agreed upon with the EU.

I wonder why the European parliament keep coddling this people. They should pull the plug out of this mess by not offering any more extensions.

The UK's economy will be ravaged by a no deal Brexit but they do not seem too worried about it at all. Instead they keep wasting time doing this comedy elections while adults keep waiting for the British to stop negotiating with themselves and sort the mess they caused possibily by signing a WA they previously agreed upon

Maybe because I'm a Maltese and we're experienced in ignoring the doom and gloom surrounding a no deal with the UK having passed (and thrived) from it ourselves. What I do know is that this uncertainty cannot be sustained for long. We need to move on from Brexit and if the British cannot do it themselves then we have to do it on their behalf
 
The pound has been declining for a while now after steadying out for a bit.

Currently trading at $1.24 USD.

At one point it becomes worth taking a hit rather then prolong the inevitable. Europe needs to move on from Brexit

I suspect that the EU has been patient not because of the UK's worth to the EU but more because of Ireland. However as many sources has already said, patience is indeed running low

The EU are not pulling the rug from under anyone, it's the UK that chose to leave but they don't seem to want to go. If the UK are not going to accept the withdrawal agreement nor cancel Brexit, then there is only one other outcome and that's no deal. The Uk's choice. If Johnson or Hunt continue with the nonsense they are currently spouting then no deal is inevitable at the end of October. There's no magic wand.

realistically this could be the last chance to do something about it and with may only having a week left many might feel its worth abstaining

Will be interesting to see if labour put a 3 line whip as well (and how many flaunt that if they do)
