United fans are protesting at Carrington

Use the momentum and keep that kind of stuff going. There is maybe more attention on the topic than ever before.
As long as it goes against the Glazers only why are some worried about the players?

Lads are doing their bit, fair play to them. Small protests like this to gain the momentum and ramp up the pressure.

On the other side you have Fredo and Co who think this will somehow disrupt the players as if 15 men at Carrington will disrupt their rhythm and they won't be ready for Leeds or posters who are making fun of that while sitting behind their monitor.
100% this. I am a very cynical person but mostly because people are rarely arsed to do anything about things they dislike.

What I'm seeing here is some people just want to be right and want others to share their myopic world views that nothing ever changes.

I certainly do not underestimate the hatred towards them. What I doubt is how much they care. They simply don't.

Create as many hashtags and protests as we want, it'll make no difference to the Glazers. Now if we had a whip round and got them the 5/6 billion they want we might have a chance of getting rid, until then you'd be better off trying to tie fog.
As i said i think you underestimate the situation. These mother feckers have been working on this for 3 years. For 3 years the Glazers believed they would be getting a pot of guranteed gold with the Superleague. That dream has gone now for them. So surely they must be in a situation where they have to revalue what it is they want. Anyway I have rambled on, as fans we are in it together and kudos to that group that went there this morning. As Tesco used to say 'every little help's

Social media trends, and massive opposition across the game has wrecked their shitshow. They have lost big money, credibility, etc. Why do you think Joel is writing to you? What did you make of his letter, anyway?

This was only ever a power play to force UEFA into reform.

We dropped out when other clubs did and it became obvious the league was DoA because of that. The previous 48 hours of protests had had no effect, if anything at that point the clubs involved seemed to double down on their involvement in the face of the public adversary.

His letter was lip service for gullible idiots, but again shows that they're going nowhere. They don't communicate with the fans for the first time if they're planning on leaving shortly after.

Ah. Well my answer to "... they're not giving that up (for X, Y Z)" is...
That is defeatist. They might be forced to give it up. We don't want the Saudis either, but decent regulation will take care of that.
Be positive. Get this lot out. Get the other foreign owners out of the other clubs. Change the way things are done. Look at the German model. The Glazers have been leeches on the back of the club since their hostile takeover. They don't give a shit about fans ... never speak to us up to this disaster. They are bad for the game and bad for the club.

Regulate
#GlazersOut
You need to get the PL/FA to change ownership rules before we change ownership, otherwise you will proboably just end up in the same, or even worse, situation again.

Good point. But the momentum for this change has to be maintained to keep the politicos interested.

Disagree, the fact that these idiots also resigned their positions within Uefa at a coordinated point in time suggests to me that this was much more than that. They got scared, they didnt expect the backlash from everyone. They s*it themselves like the cowards that they are, then they sent out worthless, pointless statements. The first Utd statement was a disgrace. They dont care about us, our club, our fanbase, our stadium. They care about nothing but the dollar.

I thought you were saying people talking about and protesting means and does nothing though?

Just read the Perez interview. It's amazing.
He's like a cartoon super-villian revealing his master plan before he gets knocked off.

And they'll simply move onto their next money making enterprise.

Successful business men do not give up in the face of failure. If anything it's probably made them more resolute in their stance on "reforming the pyramid". Just read the statement from them. If you think that means they're looking for an exit strategy I want some of what you're smoking.

Hilarious and disingenious. They lost millions. They got JP Morgan downgraded. Some of them were forced into humiliating apologies. Great power play. Force reform, by these slime bags? They would not know reform if it crawled up their trousers and did a ballet on their balls.

Protests won't and don't do anything. We've seen that over that 2 decades while they've been linked and involved with our club.

Protests just did a lot. Keep up your own heroic efforts.

Seconded. I know I prefer amateurish people who try to make a change over keyboard warriors belittling them while doing absolutely feck all but trying to come off as smart.

Absolute morons " We decide when you play" what a truly scummy thing to say.

By all means make your feelings known but in the right way. Invading training and yelling at the players and manger is pathetic to me

Let's see in a few months, aye. The fact UEFA made rapid changes suggest the "big 12" have got what they wanted.

Don't even need the politicos, it really needs the PL/FA to change their rules.

What realistically can the politicians do anyway? The 50+1 won't work, so what else do you want from them?

It’s a good start. We need the Government to actually put what they said into action and look into wrestling the power from these owners and giving it back to the fans. That, along with more protests makes their hold on the club weaken.
I saw Liverpool lost a sponsorship of some watches because of protest, that would be a good way to hurt the glazers, go after their sponsors.

I would not mock it but it is disappointing that there are so few people there.

Think it needs to be more organised. This is the largest forum of fans that is not connected to the club so hopefully something bigger can be arranged here.
It would be difficult to arrange a load of people to go to Carrington, if you post that all over Twitter the day before then they’re ready for you. These few lads getting in will do just as much as a hundred locked outside.

Jesus, how soft are some of you people?

Also, why are you making things up? They had a chat and left. You're doing the Glazers bidding with shit posts like this.

I don't agree with targeting the training ground and the players and Ole.

It wasn't their doing, and many of them reportedly stood up against the idea. And, also, we need to let the players and coaches get on with focusing on the on field issues for the rest of the season. It also breaks up the united front between fans and players against the owners responsible for the suggestion.

If people want to carry on some protests against the owners then fine, but it's not the players and managers fault and they need to be allowed to focus on the final games of the season and trying to secure 2nd place and winning the Europa League.

Well done for making your voices heard.

Let's make it bigger and louder come Saturday and for long after until the Glazers are gone!

I usually don't agree with much Mike or the LUHG crowd have to say, but this way of doing it is feckin hilarious. It's become a trend many are copying now.

And welcome our new Saudi overlords because they were the only ones who could afford to buy United.

Happy now?

Brilliant. That will sadly hurt the glazers more than most protests.

Glad to see people taking some concerted action no matter how small or “pointless”.

You know the state of football ownership has hit rock bottom when 12 wealthy but soulless conniving individuals can collectively agree on something as absurdly selfish and disruptive like a super league to the detriment of all fans.

no apology will ever fix this.

fans have every right to protest no matter how small or pointless it may be.

This was not just a power play. Give over.

Insulting another member
the ONLY embarrassing thing is you sitting in your spunk-stained gruds at home. Alone. Criticising what they’re trying to do.

What exactly have you done to assist?
Get Fecked you halfwit twat.
They illegally entered our players training ground, wrong way to go about things for a start.
They then show off a banner ''we decide when you play''. They don't represent me with that dictatorship statement.
Isn't that what the Glazers were initially trying with the whole ESL thing and are now getting slaughtered for it and rightly so.
Hypocrites!

It's just so brainless targeting the players and manager who had no say in this and who have made their feelings known.

By all account it was the players reaction that caused the U Turn yet these " fans" decided to go after them. Completely brainless.

Then to tell Ole they don't need a history lesson from him is just shameful.

They aren't going after the players at all. They are going after the Glazers as we all should

What is the point of this comment?
Because that's what will happen if we just get rid of the Glazers.

We need to make the PL/FA change their rules first to ensure that this sort of ownership can never happen again. People are just too blinded/have tunnel vision with just wanting the Glazers gone.

I must have missed the "Rashford Out" banner. Could you point us into its direction?

Ole's been sucking up to the Glazers and denouncing fans since getting the job, after publicly taking supporters' side and denouncing Glazers and their takeover in 2005. So I'd say Ole is in fact the one who needs a history lesson.
