They banned aircraft from Russian airlines or military, not oligarchs.

Dear god…
Dear god…
Neither of those 2 aircraft are Russian registered, and I not officially owned by any Russian.Biden said on Tuesday... ALL Russian registered aircraft.

who decided that bombing a nuclear power station was a good idea ?
The International Atomic Energy Agency has said that the fire has not affected essential equipment or caused radiation levels to change , this is good news.
I get that, TV radio and power, but a nuclear power station !!Its part of the military doctrine -- soften up defences then next take out the infrastructure -- telecoms to power before you actually enter the city.
Seizing control on infrastructure is one thing, shelling a nuclear power plant isn't on any plan. The most wreckless thing I've seen in a long, long time. Its part of the military doctrine -- soften up air/military defences then next, take out the infrastructure -- telecoms to power before you actually enter the city.
Not saying it's clever, but nuclear power plants should have no issues withstanding shelling. They can take a plane crash!Seizing control on infrastructure is one thing, shelling a nuclear power plant isn't on any plan. The most wreckless thing I've seen in a long, long time.
At the price of nuclear warAt what point does NATO actually get involved? Now they are bombing nuclear power plants. I’m stunned at the lack of action by all. What’s the point in providing aid when you could actually stop Ukrainians lives being turned upside down.
If this conflict results in massive nuclear contamination of Europe that's surely enough to warrant everyone's involvement? Doesn't make sense to suffer nuclear fallout just to avoid nuclear fallout... Call Putin's bluff and bomb his men to armaggeddon.
He's using the west's stereotype of Russians for his own purposes. We have become convinced that we value life more than he does (we don't), so we think we have more to lose. The craziest thing to me when talking about the dreaded nuclear word is that Putin is happy to use this threat when he knows that using it would result in immediate retaliation by NATO.
This guy has children and grandchildren that he would be putting at risk of death in the worst manner possible. What kind of human being does that make him?

If Putin was so suicidal he'd hardly stay 100 feet away from his closest advisors.
100% this.
While we as civilians have the luxury of looking at this purely on a moral level, where of course it would be right to intervene.
Politicians and military leadership have to consider the hard ramifications of intervening. An intervention would cause MORE Ukrainian deaths in the short term, their homeland becoming an even bigger battle field and also potentially lead to millions of deaths throughout the world if nukes were to be launched.
NATO won't act until a NATO member is attacked, the world can't afford it to.
There is no mandate in NATO rules ( for want of a better word ) to enforce a no fly zone , no NATO member has been affected and until that happens , their hands a pretty much tied.At what point does NATO actually get involved? Now they are bombing nuclear power plants. I’m stunned at the lack of action by all. What’s the point in providing aid when you could actually stop Ukrainians lives being turned upside down.

, he goes “I will be Santa clause”, she goes “but that is only once a year”
I don't think people like him think about individuals when they take decisions. It's all about the 'state', 'nation', 'strategic security', 'sovereignty' ... When they think about humans it's the "people" which becomes a massed stereotypical concept of what people are, deprived of individuality and differing opinions or characteristics. The craziest thing to me when talking about the dreaded nuclear word is that Putin is happy to use this threat when he knows that using it would result in immediate retaliation by NATO.
