Westminster Politics

With a 148, you surely can’t just ignore it and all suddenly unite and move forward. That’s a significant number of your own MPs let alone everyone other MP across the aisle firmly against.

“It’s time to move on and focus on what the public care about”

Do you really think he will call a GE ?
I don’t personally. He’s a narcissist, he doesn’t want to go out on a big loss with the public.

He’s got a year to do what he wants. He’s going to squeeze every last drop out of his premiership before he steps down, triggers a leadership battle followed by a GE.

He has no class, despite posing around as a toff with his toff pals. He's completely self-serving and ruthless. He simply wants the power, he doesn't care at all about how he keeps it as long as he's in charge.

He's not bothered in the slightest about the issues facing ordinary people. He doesn't understand what it's like as he's had a life of privilege.

Is what Bojo and the cabinet will say. And he’s the type who won’t care and just carry on. But if it was say 60-70, then those 60-70 would fall in line. With 148, they know they have a significant group. They can’t oust him but they will become a serious thorn in his backside and more division is only good for our chances of getting these dickheads out.

Tough one to spin, you almost feel sorry for those trying.

He'll lose the next two by-elections then what? He does the right thing and stands down usually but more likely he just carries on.

Why is that bad? He's got enough to stay in office

Stay in office with 148 of his own MP’s not wanting him is brutal

May had less against her when she won and was gone within 6 months

The U.K. might not thank me, but get the contract out, put it on the table, let him sign it, let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there -- given what he's done since he's come in -- and let him sign the contract and go

Boris is at the wheel, man -- he's doing his thing. The Tories are back!

1922 committee can change the rules

Maybe this is the grand plan, let the Tory’s spin so much it ends the energy crisis.

So true.

I honestly think he'll be thinking about a snap GE because why the feck not? Last throw of the dice, get the British public on side and see if he can save his job one last time. If not, he was on his way out anyway, and I feel like he cares more about himself than the actual conservative party.

The beeb wesbite put the news "Boris Johnson wins vote of confidence" and as I was looking at the screen the word "wins" was replaced with "survives"

Is the Sky reporter interviewing the politicians Boris Johnson’s son? The bias is unbelievable

This in a nutshell, it was the same when he was the Mayor of London. High paying official jobs to journalists that gave him positive coverage and loads of vanity projects.

Hopefully he doesn't do too much damage before he's voted out in 2024.
