Practice makes perfect, he wont keep having a mediocre end product for long. We should stick with him.
Nani's contribution to the goal was just as significant as Berbatov's, clearly.
The same then could be said for Gary Neville.

Agreed, keep the faith! If in doubt get him to call the man in Madrid for some tips.
Anyone who would say that would be desperately trying to prove a point to back up his own biased opinion to the extent he wasn't thinking logically.
But yes, it could.
some people like moaning...they think we can buy anyone else and they'll have as much potential or can do the job better all the time all the time all the time...
He's 23, still learning his trade...people need to chill a bit with the pointing inconsistancy out every 5 minutes
He's potentially good enough, he wants to prove himself here, he's been paitent and never been outspoken about not featuring....
His cross led to berbatovs header and that led to valencias goal...but some people just like to moan. They perhaps take more enjoyment out of that then the actual win
Why.
What did he do this time.
Everyone fecks up but when Nani fecks up it's always a highlight

Well Nani is a very easy player to dislike compared to most players.
Its embarrassing this thread. He was on for 20 minutes at most yesterday and people are still slating him. Unbelievable.
He didn't do anything special, but he wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination. Its just some fans have it in for him, big time.
he should have started, giggs should have been the impact player.
Nani has done nothing in his time at united to merit the sort of unflinching trust some of you guys have in him. for ages now I've heard people saying give him time and he is an amazing talent.
I feel like a kid who wants to shout 'but the emperor has no clothes on'. I have seen nothing from this kid that warrants a place in the team ahead of giggs or valencia or I'd even argue a fit ji sung park and after nearly 3 years at he club thats not a great return. Luis Nani is a portugese international player who does not seem to understand what being a united player means. this has nothing to do with his 20 mins yesterday and anyone hammering him for that is doing him an injustice.
and anyone saying he deserves a longer run in the team please analyse that statement again. if Nani was performing to standard in training and in the team would SAF play him more regularly. Of course he would. Its not some outside influence that is stopping nani nailing down a regular place. its his own contributions when he does play. they are not up to scratch and dont appear to be getting close to scratch
Its got to do with his contribution over seasons. He is not living up to his billing and my belief is that he does not have what it takes to be a united player. reminds me of Danny Wallace to be honest. terribly frustrating. and I cant believe that on a forum like this with so many knowledgeable posters that people are gettin hammered for no other reason than they are saying they dont think he's good enough. newsflash. not every player in a united shirt is the best footballer in the world. and some if not a lot of them dont make it. and almost 3 seasons at united having arrived as a first team player from another professional league is enough time to judge
and its ok now that we've seen nani over a few seasons to raise doubts about his long term future. it really is
The acid test is, would we get back what we payed for him?
Bunch of tossers some of you. Even when Nani plays less than 20minutes he still gets shit thrown at him. It's fecking pathetic.

I assume you are reading the posts and see that most on here are not hammering him for yesterdays 20 mins but are trying to judge him over his career so far
He's done nothing? He scored a pen in the champions league final in his first year. if he misses, we lose. THAT earnt my trust. How the feck are you going to earn anyones trust?...
so did other united players. it does not guarantee any of them immunity from criticism for the length of their united careers. John Terry missed a penalty in the same shootout. He is consistently performing for chelsea. whats your point?
Not buying that, he's been a target ever since he joined for the club. 'people' tend to gloss over his good points during a game and instead turn him into a scapegoat.
Same thing happened with Fletcher.
He's a confidence player who needs games, hearing the crowd groan when he gets something wrong is hardly going to help his progress. Espically considering the lack of first team football he had last year, he's still finding his feet this year like alot of our players.
yes so did other players but were the other players aside from nani inexperienced and in their first year at the club?..(anderson aside)
You said nani's done nothing. To stand up and take a pen takes bottle. It's a good quality to have....
