I know what you mean, though I wouldn't say they're my favourite! It's like watching the reserves, you can enjoy watching players you don't get to see too often with the fear of defeat.
 
Also, starts for Foster and Welbeck are all but guaranteed, probably the boy Nani too.

Isn't Welbeck still injured after picking up the knock at Barnsley?

Fletcher, Evra, Giggs and Rooney should definitely be rested for this one.

Welbeck was on the bench for the Everton match so I assume he has recovered.

I'd like to see Obertan, Nani, Anderson, Welbeck and Macheda get plenty of time on the pitch during this match.

I hope Owen gets to play this one. The more minutes under his belt the better he will get for the latter half of the season.

I'd really like to see Rooney play up front with Welbeck.

Although I suspect it would be another match where we see Owen and Rooney fail to spark up much of a partnership.
 
Besiktas are a poor side though, a weakened team should do the job.

Ferguson will field a young side - he admitted that he wasn't sure winning the group was a big advantage since so many of the best sides look like they could end up 2nd so there will be many changes.
 
I doubt we'll start either of Rooney or Evra, and better not to if we can get away with it. We lack for suitable cover so we must take any opportunity to ration their number of appearances.
