Birmingham City v Manchester United

Don't know how much difference it makes, but i live not far from Birmingham and there's been no more snow here.

Google weather looks kinda promising weather birmingham uk - Google Search

Some snow showers in the Birmingham area today drifting in from the East - these will be generally very light though. I really want this game to go ahead, was out of the country over new years so haven't seen football in ages.

:D

The One only scores in quadraples. so it'd be 1-5. Diouf -4.

But seriously, do you expect him to be on the pitch today at any point of time?

Ok, now we have the official - it's all set to be a cracker.

Diouf with 4 goals off the bench.

Fergie said it would be a great game to get him involved in, you never know! Positive thinking :D

From what i heard on the BBC yesterday evening the cold weather should not come into play as regards the surrounding area and safety concerns associated with such..

However as i recall and this being from a fixture last season, St Andrews does not have under-soil heating, so whether the old fashioned problem of a frozen pitch raises its head only time will tell.

An opportunity has presented itself here if only we can seize it. So may nature be kind and let us be striding onto that pitch later this day.

If true, we're fecked. It's not gonna get above freezing all day.

If Berba freezes on the pitch will anyone notice?

I think he will take precautions by wearing an extra layer which will then be countered by Fletcher wearing Stuart Pearce's shorts circa 1990.

Oh and regarding undersoil heating:

A Birmingham statement said: "Staff have worked around the clock to ensure the St. Andrew's walkways, car parks and other areas are clear, the undersoil heating system means there are no problems at all with the pitch."

Thread on there now says match is on. "ESPN inform talksport at 10.45 today blues have informed them match is 100 percent on ."

I'm not celebrating until they kick off, still plenty of time left before the game for them to change their minds. But it has a decent chance I think, even if it is snowing in Brum again.

I'm slightly afraid to ask but what channel is this on in ROI/UK?

Has anyone else taught that Sky this year has been a waste of money?

Sky has been dissapointing but it will pick up next month with the CL and some big games starting with the Arsenal game then end of this month. ESPN has been decent value though with UFC too, and actual HD content as opposed to the shoddy shit Setanta used to call a picture.

chelsea are so lucky to have theirs canceled. At this rate the players in the african nations will be back before they've played a game. Jammy bastards

We'll win but it won't be easy 1-2

On ESPN in the UK at least.

Cheers mate

The CL games are always on the regular channels though. I always head to the pub for the big games aswell so I have watched feck all Sky gams this year.

Thats it I'm broke but I'm getting ESPN

A win today would be massive. We'd be ahead on points, even if only temporarily, and our fixture schedule would be better than most clubs which would be another advantage.
