Birmingham City v Manchester United

Yeah, no point of asking for the line-ups as this match will be postponed.

Birmingham said they were confident the match will go ahead. Sky seem to think that it's okay as well.

PIG

Rafael Brown Evans Evra

Valencia Carrick Fletcher Giggs

Rooney Berbatov

It pretty much has to go ahead now. Would be fecking stupid of them to cancel it so last minute.

I know Brum are in good form, but realistically we should be looking to beat them if we put a strong side out. I imagine Fergie will have really ripped into the team in the last week.
They're obdurate and organised, but fairly limited as well.

I think they could hold out for a draw. A defeat would be really unacceptable.

3 hours and 15 minutes until Berbatime !

Diouf should start. Berbatov needs a good kick up the arse and get his shit together. This man really frustrated me!

He's scored 2 in the last 2 PL games.

Granted the Leeds game was an aberration, but the entire side failed to perform. Berbatov still fashioned our best openings.

Talk of this Diouf lad getting a start is just absurd.

And why should Diouf start ahead of Owen or even Welbeck? (if Berba is to be dropped)

Yeah, Owen would be the man to come in.

I just wonder today whether he might opt for Rooney up front on his own. Get Anderson in midfield alongside Carrick and Fletcher to make sure we're nice and solid. Giggs and Valencia on the wings.

feck's sake.. Are people mental? Have you even seen Diouf play? He's not even played for the reserves, has he? And to play him above Berbatov?

Maybe he'll be on the bench, but no fecking way that he'll start. I'd like to see the same eleven as against Wigan.

why the bloody hell would anyone give diouf a start when he hasnt played one game at any level in england or in a league anywhere near the level of he prem

Those who doubt Diouf should knowest that:

"Mighty flames from the mouth of Diouf shall encapsulate those who doubt the Diouf. Diouf is Good, Diouf is Great, 4 goals per game Diouf shall celebrate."

Idiots.

That's the nature of this place.

We should probably drop one of our established midfield players and recall Cleverley whilst we're at it.

Seriously though, I want to see us retain some of the key partnerships from game-to-game. That means a settled spine. If we get a run of games from Fletcher-Carrick and Rooney-Berbatov then I think we'll start to look a hell of a lot more impressive.

Can someone explain the whole Diouf thing to me? I just read his thread in the United forum. Strange.
