Anyone else think Park will start on the right to help Rafael will Ronaldinho?
I'll be watching to see if Fletch gets pseudo-man-marking duties on Ronaldinho. He excels at taking 'skill' players out of their element. It'd also ease the psychological burden on Rafael (just contain until Fletch arrives)
No doubt same thing will happen with my Liverpool applicationShit, me too
feck all the cnuts who only apply for the big games.
He'd have to, otherwise it'll have to be Fletcher.
My bet is Fletcher covering Rafa, I agree. WOuld be pretty similar like against Arse.
Besides Ronnie is not that fast anymore.. Would prefer Brown myself, as he has more experience but I think Rafael can cope...
Not really, Pato has largely been restricted to the right and Ronaldinho the left, cutting in but never really swapping flanks.Pato will be playing on the left, I'd imagine some interchange. With the three upfront we'll probably see Rio Ferdinand moving to the right and Evans moving to the left when the fullbacks push up, so Fletch would probably be required to fill the gap in between.

Well it's a risk, Milan's taking a risk with Beckham instead of Gattuso, United's doing likewise with Rafael instead of Brown. Hopefully Rafael won't conceed a freekick which Beckham scores.![]()
Eurosport claims these benches:
Milan: Abbiati, Offside, Seedorf, Favalli, Abate, Gattuso, Flamoney
Manchester United: Kuszczak, Owen, Neville, Brown, Berbatov, Valencia, Gibson
Not official because Eurosport sometimes get it wrong though.

Does leave the defence very open against Huntellaar those tactics though, probably see Carrick or Scholes sitting deeper than usual on this one.![]()
the boy's turned a corner.
this imo is what United is about: if you're good enough, you play, even in these games.
young lads take notice of these things.
It's basically 4-2-3-1 with Beckham, Ronaldinho and Pato just behind Huntelaar as far as I know. Haven't seen too many games of Milan this season though.Could we see an orthodox 4-4-2 with Beckham right and Pato upfront?![]()
Didn't expect Milan's lineup to be anything like that personally. Could be a big risk - a slow Beckham and unfit Bonera shadowing the left may not make it easy for Milan. Antonini is decent but that's really it - and he's not going to get a ton of protection from Ronaldinho. Ambrosini hasn't looked good all season either, so Nani and Rafael will be looking to challenge Antonini.
I still maintain that if we isolate Ronaldinho and Pato that's most of the job done - Milan will have a lot of the ball without doing anything with it.
ronaldinho-huntelarr-pato, got to be said that sounds scary as feck.
Won't happen. Huntelaar doesn't work hard enough for Pato to pick up scraps and Ronaldinho further back makes no sense.Could we see an orthodox 4-4-2 with Beckham right and Pato upfront?![]()
Huntelaar is limited in what he does with the ball.
Pato is a headless chicken.
Ronaldinho, Beckham and Pirlo are the danger.
expect Rio or Evans to be man marking him(probably Evans). I don't like the idea of Scholes sitting deep and coveriing for the defence with his textbook tackling..
I don't believe there'll be a zonal marking in the box having in mind Milan are playing with a target man in Ruud mould. Carrick and Fletcher would double the flanks IMO.
Match on tonight?
I predict that if Pato has a good game, there will be a thread saying we should sign him
