I'm not sure where you're going with this latest tangent about the Glazers but you've been talking an awful lot of rubbish in the last few posts, so I'm inclined to think this is more of the same.

Are you seriously suggesting that if Anderson had been slacking off, not turning up to training and buggering off to Brazil without permission then the Glazers would encourage MUTV to cover the story, so Anderson can be sold for more than we paid for him (20m is what you said, right?)

Do you have any idea how insane that sounds?

you talk of insainity so let me ask you. What is the proof you have that leads you to the conclusion the media is right and Andersons done something wrong?...

I've asked it 3 or 4 times and no one can answer it. Before I say anymore, please answer it. I think i'm not asking for too much. Every other issue skirts round THE issue. So now is your stage or anyones who think Andersons guilty of something - to share it with us.

give it a rest....you internet warrior. You know i'm right. There is not one ''successful business man that would not know everyname linked to a valuation

So you think the Glazer's know every single player of ours off the top of their heads? Get real. They probably know Rooney, Ferdinand, Vidic(because he'll fetch them some megabucks), Giggs, Scholes, and Nev. That's about it. They are not interested in the team or soccer, they are interested in maximising their earnings, simple as that.

what the feck do you know? You pull that crap out your ass. You have no facts. Zip. The idea they don't know Anderson (who's played just under 100 times for us) exists is clutching at straws to win some kinda argument your having in your head.

Its not what MUTV says, its what they don't say.

They don't have to say anything. You want them to respond to every rumor made up? It won't happen. You respond to one, you have to respond to all.

Now if anyone can answer this one question, i'll gladly bow to your smarts. If you believe andersons guilty of something, what are you basing it on and where is your proof?..

What proof are you looking for? A signed affidavit from Anderson himself?

feck it, I can't believe I'm carrying on this discussion with you. You've lost the plot.

You make me sound like some deranged, internet version of Gollum

I'm just pointing out that it's unlikely that Glazer's know every player in our squad.

Jeez, wind your neck in, pal.

you have said that you believe it as probably others have. What are you basing it on? And you're the one saying I lost the plot. feck me. I never said your wrong. I asked you a simple question. Why can't you answer it?

The fact is you have an idea about his character in your head and you believe it to the extent you believe what you read and it's wrong. It's not right of you to do that. I believe in backing the players until something official comes out. The media will lie and there is no reason to state he's not played recently because of this

It's a slur on someones character. It'd be easy to believe, he's not featured because for the most part he's been shite thus far and we can see that and there is some evidence there. To me that's a real probablilty

But even if a player goes Brazil. If your not playing it don't mean the media investigate the matter. It could be family issues or maybe just a break which Sir Alex did a lot with Ronaldo

How many clubs do actually air their dirty laundry in public? The most I ever recall hearing is one or two stories about players that aren't well substantiated i.e, Bellamy, Balotelli and to a lesser extent Barton (since the courts can't hide some info the way clubs can).

What we do know is that Anderson hasn't performed of late and therefore hasn't played. We also know that Sir Alex isn't one to keep passengers around, so yer lad is going to have to improve a lot in these next few weeks or you won't have him to fap over much longer.

Ok, one last time.

The reason I didn't answer you is because the answer is blindingly obvious.

When almost every fecking news network on the planet - including several eye witness reports from Brazil - reports that Anderson has missed training and fecked off to Brazil, followed by him immediately being frozen out of the squad for a number of key games it doesn't take a fecking genius to see that there's clearly something to what's been reported.

Unless, of course, you're some sort of bizarre Howard Hughes character locked in your room collecting bottles of piss and refusing to believe anything anyone tells you unless it's pumped into your telly via MUTV.

No offence, like....

lol why would I take offense?

BTW whats your thoughts on Vidics agents?.....He has more then one right?

Well hey, you never stop learning. Goodluck with that.

I can't see him being sold in the immediate future to be honest, I don't think it even makes sense to. Whether or not something has actually happened between Anderson and Fergie is another thing, something probably not worth speculating on without any actual facts. Otherwise we can go around in circles trying to untangle the mess of reports and articles coming out about him, whether he has missed training, or not, or if Fergie has decided he's had enough, but where will that get us?

I refuse to believe anything until I see it happen, either by United issuing a statement, or from the player himself. Perhaps it's daft, or just ignorant, but if we were to believe all reports on a player, then we wouldn't have a team anymore. I don't think it makes you wrong, or an idiot to not start panicking because most of the 'talk' indicates his dismissal, it just means we are either slightly more skeptical than others, or a tad more optimistic.

id just like to point out that anderson must fergie must make sure anderson is match fit for the 2nd leg because he must play know that carrick is suspended.

I always felt that the milan legs would suit him becuase of his energy and as we saw yesterday milan tire quickly and anderson could really make it hard for them if he was on his game.
Its a pity he got himself into this mess.

---Anderson---
Fletcher-Scholes

Only way, though some of the brigade think Gibson is a useful tool, I actually (Shockingly) would be inclined to think Gibbo could work in the second leg if Ando is not fit or ready.

Very good post, indeed.
Hopefully things will be sorted out soon, because we really need him.

need him ? need him to do what ? play the same below average shit hes played since joing 3 seasons ago ? Lets put the some facts straight he is a young lad that has some raw talent and has done some good things whilst at United .But in general he does not work hard enough or have the skills required to keep his place in the first team !and to put it bluntly HE AINT DOING IT ! all this crap about give him more time is in fact a waste of time!
when it suits United to releae him he will be gone closely followed by Nani.

Wow calm down...
Well I think it couldnt get any more obvious why we need him in a situation like right now. Giggs is out and Carrick is suspended.
We need him in situations like that, if players need a rest, are injured or suspended and probably he will be able to play himself back into form again to climb up the peckin order and make it into our first 11.
The potential is there imo , but this thing right now needs to be sorted out as quickly as possible.

This is not about potential ability. This is an emergency situation. With giggs carrick and hargreaves out. He has to play. I mean he may have bee disappointing thsi season but he is not a bad player am is definatly our best option for teh 2nd leg. he must play. Gibson would nt even get a sniff agaisnt milans midfield.

Anderson is not the only option. Is it confirmed Giggs is out? If he is, then does anyone think Fergie might start all three wingers - Park in the centre with Nani and Valencia on the wings? Or will Fergie take a gamble with Berba upfront and Rooney on the left?

Well if I was a United supporter (which I am) - then I am hoping that Ando can get back into the frame of things for the return leg. He has shown great ability and in a game like the second leg - I'd want him versus a midfield trio that is made up of both Giggs and Scholes.

Both are fantastic players but, if we are going to look to boss then we'll need the energy / strength of 2 younger players in there than those two.

I don't know when the next reserves game is - maybe he gets to play in it and then the CC Final - a chance to get back into 1st team contention. Whatever it is keeping him out of the team selections - the only way he gets back is playing.

I think your forgetting Scholes and Giggs are tactical geniuses. Which you need against Italian teams.

Anderson's "suffering" on several fronts it seems. He obviously angered Fergie and is getting punished for that, and I am sure rightly so. Then, it seems like he has to prove his fitness in a Reserve game but they were all cancelled. Further, the team is playing well enough and we dont "need" him, so he is not flying with the team to Milan and has to watch them on TV, he is not on the bench in League games etc.
I just hope he really learned his lesson, that he is regretting whatever he did to piss of Fergie and that he comes back stronger than ever and finally starts playing to his very best

we dont "need" him

I understand what you're trying to say, but we really do "need" him available for the Milan game.

I just shudder to think at what a battering his confidence is taking in all of this, regardless of how much of it has been self inflicted.

I think even he realised that he is not such an integral player that we couldnt cope without him. As for Milan, we could cope without him even with Carrick out. Scholes and Fletcher will play, Giggs might be ready, if not, we have Valencia who can apparently play in the centre as well.
And it seems like he wont play a game unless he was involved in a reserve team game.

I still think he'd be very useful to have included in the squad.

Ando has been missing because he is fat and Fergie wants him to lose weight so he can actually be effective for a full 90 mins. He is also taking shooting lessons from Ole.

When this is worked out he will be back and better than Gerrard.

Why would SAF want to sell a player who, in his early 20's, has years to go before achieving his potential? If the player has fallen out with the manager then he will learn that hard way before getting back into the squad - which, when he does, I expect he will be a better player for it.
United would take a huge loss on the player should he be sold and I can't think for one reason why he would. He is young enough to mold, mature and grow into the player SAF bought him to be. A petulant spat will only put him on the sideline for a while.
Considering his age, I don't think the lad has done too bad over the last few seasons. As a teenager he had to adapt to living in a different country for the second time, this time learning a new language. There aren't many 20 year old midfielders that spring to mind who are regulars in the middle ofthe park and stand out as quaility - especially playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Just in case people don't read the Reserves/Youth section.

Ando played today and people mentioned him looking like he'd lost weight.

Said to have started slow but, by half time was imposing himself and till he went off around the 60 minute mark - having provided an assist to Diouf, who also came off.

Maybe he'll be in contention for Saturday bench.

Sort of noticed that....put it down to the quality of my stream actually....all the players looked thinner.

Good post.

Nice to hear the lad made an appearance for the reservies and as someone mentioned, he could well be in line for a place on the bench, or even in the starting X1, against Everton.

I actually thought to myself he looked a bit slimmer. Still looked a bit lazy though, and he has a frustrating habit of stopping and looking confused when an attempted keyhole pass doesn't come off. He made a few very nice passes to Diouf to put him in on goal but overall I didn't think he was as good as a few people seem to be suggesting.

SAF left as soon as he was taken off too, so he was clearly there to watch him, will if he makes the squad at weekend. If he's going to break into the first team he needs to be doing better than tonight imo.

Didn't Diouf come off same time as Ando? So maybe SAF was surveying him as well.

I think Diouf came off after didn't he? Possible though mate.

Talking of which, I didn't realise Brandy was 4ft tall

lol - don't make fun of short people ... they might head butt you in the junk.

He'd have to jump I swear! His shorts were round his armpits and still nearly dragging on the floor!

edit: I should say though, he was impressive.
