Can we just spend the rest of the day asking about Henderson and Benzema?
A twitter account has been created. It purports to belong to a 15 yo Swede and he is claiming responsibility for hacking the two users.
However as it is a newly created account and it does not tie in too well with some aspects of the hack then we are sceptical as to it's validity. In the meantime we would urge users not to respond to the twitter account or post details of it here

From Rawk
Why would he lie Rawk? What could he possibly have to gain by taking responsibility for this, if anything he's opening himself up to mass abuse.
I seem to have gained about 15 followers as a result of that...Twitter's weird.
That was a chore I'll tell you...I did actually have some sympathy for him to begin with (and still a smidgen to be fair) because being slagged off by faceless warriors on the internet is mightily frustrating, and I get it regularly when I blog, hence why I never try and do it myself. However his insistence that this constituted an agenda of some sort, and the fact he kept referring to these "threads" and the "extreme measures" and "targeting" when in fact it was just one rather mild thread (which I've never even posted in as it happens) talking about some rumours he started - rather innocently at first too - and not "threads dedicated to targeting him" became impossible to ignore. ..He did seem to have some odd delusions of importance. ..I'd never heard of him before that thread, and barely remembered him when he was brought up today, but apparently we Cafites have an agenda...Hmmmm...
He seemed to feel he'd be the victim of a coonciously organised and vicious smear campaign..as opposed to simply being called a tit by some no marks on an Internet forum with 30k members...
It just became boring after a while. The fact he'd decided he could say anything he liked about the site because "he'd been attacked" before was the crux of it. He felt righteous about it cos he'd been wronged. Didn't matter that this wronging had nothing to do with this current instant, in tone, scope, theme or ...well...everything...all that mattered was that he'd been "attacked" and therefore hadn't started it..so it became like arguing with a particularly thick brick wall...And eventually one who just completely denied he'd even said anything in the end. Initially it was "not an accusation, just an opinion" and now he's pretty much pretending he never said anything to begin with...it's odd.
And yes, I did sign off by telling him seats for the game on Sunday were by the 'Pool fans so I'd send them his moral support..But I think he'd blocked me by then....
Hey ho....Internet, serious business.

I admit i followed you Mockney for the way you signed off to him. Consider yourself e-stalked and voted for best e-fight of 2011
this is all very exciting. or very lame. i haven't decided which yet.
It's incredibly lame, I feel instantly gayer for having gotten involved.

Yeah I didn't understand that part.RAWK's only "proof" is that the post was quoted on redcafe.
Yeah. open and close case right there.
Most likely a RAWK member doing the hacking. Can't believe they've instantly decided to blame the CAF.
Rushian said:FAO RedCafe moderators reading thread (golden_blunder). One of our mods registered with your site last night so he could talk privately with your mods. He is still awaiting approval as far as I'm aware hence no contact. Another has just contacted you in the last few minutes via your contact form.
FAO others on RedCafe as there seems to be a lot of confusion (feel free to repost):
1) Two separate RAWK accounts were compromised. One Thursday night and one Friday night. Both accounts had been registered on here for many years and lads well known to moderators. Another attempt to compromise a third account was blocked.
2) The sick parody posts made re: Hodgson/Hillsborough were almost identical in nature and crucially were made from the same IP address which had never been used before on those accounts or the forum as a whole. They also stood out a mile to any LFC fan as clearly being a dig over Hillsborough.
3) Posts removed within minutes. Screen shots appeared on twitter almost simultaneously and contents similarly copy and pasted on to RedCafe and other Man Utd sites. Your moderators have deleted the first post which was copy and pasted but the second (and quotes of it) remain. We appreciate the work you do on your forum with respect to idiotic comments on both Heysel and Hillsborough, as we do with Munich references here, which isn't always replicated elsewhere.
4) This doesn't mean RedCafe/RedIssue/UnitedOnline members or the forums/websites themselves were necessarily responsible for the account compromisation. With Red Cafe it could be just a coincidence with being such a large site with so many members. With the window the posts were on this site being so small, it is probable that you have a few posters just a bit too obsessed with this site and they have F5 fever, constantly refreshing for things to copy and paste in your RAWK Meltdown thread. We used to have the same problem here with fans obsessed with your site. That is why we binned RedCafe Watch style threads a few years back and added your site to the forum filter to prevent people posting links to discourage such slightly worrying myopia.
5) With regards to the release of private details as alleged by a couple of your members (Pogue_Mahone and Zen86) - we have only once released details in 10 years of the site being active. This was to the police who were investigating a fraud re: spare tickets. The individual was successfully prosecuted. As for RAWK releasing personal details (name, address etc) not only would this be illegal and morally something we'd be utterly opposed to, but also something we couldn't do as we don't have any of that information. We only have usernames and email addresses of registered users. The first of the two hacked users was targetted offsite as he's a well known Red and the screenshots were distributed quickly by social media such as facebook.
6) The IP address in question has been traced to a third country from the current locations of both users whose accounts were hacked (one is currently serving with the Army in Afghanistan which is why we were very suspicious over the activity) and we're continuing our investigations. If a Red Cafe moderator wants the IP address to check their own forum isn't being targetted we'd be happy to pass it on in confidence.
7) If you want to get in contact by email there is a link on the front page:
The Independent Liverpool FC Website, Red and White Kop
Hope that clears up any confusion and questions.

It may even be a RAWK poster who has made that to lend credibility to the fact that someone was hacked and to divert attention away from the fact that it might have been the opinion of their membership. You can't discount anything, but it does seem a bit bollocks that someone would create a Twitter account today purposely to admit responsibility for it. It doesn't need to be done on Twitter.
Grow up, seriously. We are rival fans and it's a bit of fun if a few posters want to rib each other via the internet. Whilst I personally don't visit Rawk, I see nothing wrong with people doing so for a laugh and vice-versa.

The constant stream we have is slightly worrying, especially as some times there is no reason to be there, that said the day after an event such as that defeat it is understandable to get the fallout.

Then, sometime later in life, the feeling returns and you realise what love is all about.
Shanks and Bob gave me the Liverpool feeling, the love of my club and what it means to be a red. Rafael Benitez gave that feeling of pride back to me after years of hurt.
Thank you Rafa Benitez, I for one understand how you felt about our club and us fans and fought the ego's that go against our philosophy.
I hope you feel the love. God bless you Rafa.
