Berbatov | Fulham player

Berba is great, I hope he stays. Great player, great personality. How anyone can hate him is beyond me.

Depends which 'lads'... I'd say any proper Red would realize he's not working out, even if we're thankful he scored goals this season...

Oh right these are the same 'lads' you regularly called idiots who only liked Berbatov because he was good on Fifa 11 because they disagreed with you. Good to see their opinion so highly valued all of a sudden

I'm the voice of normality, rationality, and sexuality.

Not a bunch of YouTube compilation loving Green & Gold Hitler Youths like yourself.

You do understand he's done feck all for three months, yeah? feck all Nick, absolute feck ALL, put it away lad...

Normality and rationality are probably the last words I'd use to describe you Merse.

The rest of your post sums you up to a tee, assumption, arrogance and general nonsense.

I suppose your professing your love for Berbatov on another social site and your persistent Berbatov championing would suggest he's your man, just an opinion. I didn't see much support by you about Rooney when he was lacking form.

You claim Berb held up play resulting in West Ham
turnaround is bizarre, he had feck all to do with the turnaround. It was Rooney, Rooney, Rooney and Hernandez (via Giggs) in that game.

I like the way you call my last post 'laughable' when I keep responding to you, especially your ridiculous views on Ronaldo, he was the best player in Europe that season, league and CL, you use your previous response to pretend he wasn't, shows your pathetic agenda.

As for Solsksjaer, he's done more for United than Berb ever will - "who put the ball in re German's net" sounds far better than "who put the ball in Blackpool's net?"

Trust me...
Unbelievable.

a) A player can influence a match despite not scoring or assisting.

b) They're not my views on Ronaldo. I was quoting other views.

c) What on earth are you on about Solskjaer for as if I've diminished him? I said:

We're talking about him coming off the bench, scoring is always going to be unlikely (even Solskjaer "only" scored 28 times in 150 substitute appearances, or once every 5.4 times)

I even put only in quotation marks for feck's sake. I think it's brutally obvious that my point is that even for the best of impact players, scoring off the bench is quite rare. I actually said this in my last post, and you're still arguing as if I've demeaned OGS!

I don't particularly need to defend Rooney, he doesn't get much stick. He's obviously a fantastic player, it goes without saying. I've posted little on Scholes, Giggs and Vidic on here, because there's not much of an argument about them, I've posted a lot on Berbatov and Carrick because there's much debate on whether they've been playing well and are deserving of a place in the squad/team.

"Pathetic agenda" is the one thing you got right in that post, but it ain't my one.

I don't hate him, I just think he's shite.

Funny how it's acceptable to criticize O'Shea or Brown or Owen but not a £30m wank-stud fantasy like Berb.

You'll find me defending all three of those players, along with anyone else who comes in for undue criticism from retards. But don't let facts get in the way of your generalisations SR, it'd be a shame to break the habit of a lifetime.

There's an obsession with his price tag. It's an inflated market, and after a bidding war too. I prefer to judge a player on what he does on the pitch rather than his price tag. The alternative (I won't mention his name) was a similar price and any other alternative, such as Benzema would likely have cost more in terms of wages. Speaking of Benzema, a player who had a world of hype about him, who cost a lot and who is also benched for the big matches at Real Madrid. Not as easy as it seems is it?

Benzema was not 27 years of age and hitting the peak of career. He is still only 23 and signed for Madrid at the age of 21. The hype is still there but he is yet to reach his full potential.

You're summed up by Baldrick, a sad little stooge sidekick agreeing with his master. You rarely start a convo on your own and latch onto other's opinions.

You're a a little Yonner muppet Nick who'd get laughed out the Joey with your shite.

What on earth are you on about? My opinions on Berbatov haven't changed and don't take lead from anyone, and whilst I've generally given up on discussing it someone as one eyed as you I sometimes find your posts objectionable enough to respond to.

What dialect are you taking on now then? Oz? Manc? Cockney? It's tough to keep you with you recently.

He had a hat trick against Liverpool. Title challenging or not doesn't matter in this derby game.

In his last season with Tottenham he scored 2 against us, 2 goals in 2 games against Chelsea, a goal against Arsenal.
The season before that he also scored against Arsenal and Chelsea.

Berbatov pretty much had a squad built around him. In affect we saw alot of that early on this season when he was banging goals in, but we can't afford to build a team around a player that is so temperamental.

From a piece on FIFA.com about Owen's new contract extension, the line "Berbatov is saying much the same" refers to a quote in which Owen says how he's enjoying playing alongside such great players, and how he can't wait for the new season":

Berbatov ready for battle
Berbatov is saying much the same. However, it is debatable whether the private thoughts of this most thoughtful of characters match the bullish rhetoric he came out with on his return home. "It was embarrassing for me - that I was not included in the group," Berbatov told Bulgarian newspaper 24 Chassa.

"I was in the dressing room. I watched the final from there. I didn't want people to see the pain in my eyes."

Now Berbatov is fighting for his United future. The striker has a year remaining on his contract, which the club have an option to extend by a further season. However, talks have broken down and so far, there is no hint that they are about to be renewed. Yet, for now at least, Berbatov is ready to battle.

"I will remain at United. I will fight for my place and I will fight for title number 20," he said. "If I was a man who gave up easily, I would never be here in the first place - starting 4 July, everything begins all over again - my personal fight to be in the first team, and for United to win more titles."

Get out of here with that shit Johnno. You know what will happen.

Can't stand him, mostly because of his personality.

But I want him to stay.

It's called being a mature adult.

Well, he doesn't seem to have the intention to leave. Quite on the contrary.

He's not played for three months either has he? How's he supposed to score from the bench?

Sorry but that's rubbish.

It'll be a mistake letting him go. He's worth much more to our team than whatever transfer fee we're going to get for him.

But being the "sensitive soul" that he is, I'm not sure what we're going to get from him in what will presumably be his last season for us (if he stays) though, especially after the CL snub. I still don't understand why he wasn't even included in the CL final squad.

SAF wanted Owen next to him so they could talk about horses.

What's wrong with his personality?

I love his personality, he's one of my favourite Utd players - and I sure as hell like his personality a lot more than a player like Rooney's.

Dimitar Berbatov said:
I have not been to a bar or disco in London. I went to an engagement party of a team-mate, I paid my respects and then left. I hope that doesn't sound sad. Sacrifices must be made.
'I live in an apartment block surrounded by security fences. It's quiet and pleasant and people can't bother me. I feed squirrels from the balcony. I paint or draw. I'll open a magazine and if I see something I like I'll try to copy it. A few days ago I drew an angel with a pen.

Then your problem should be with whoever agreed to pay that fee.

Yep and it was, I nrver thought we should pay that much for a guy who I didn't think suited us, that's been my entire argument all along, that the money would've been spent better elsewhere. 3 years later and I'm SAD to say I'm right.
