He turned us down, his loss.
That's yet to be established, given he's 22.

Lampard got 22 a few seasons ago.
We got Smalling from under their noses and they were in for Jones. It happens all the time. Win some and lose some.
In reality we had perhaps an even more perfect midfielder with us. We should really be talking about that Blackburn game and Pogba. I don't think its gotten enough airing. White text.

He didn't miss out on Zlatan. Zlatan doesn't do auditions.
It really sounds like something Zlatan would say himself![]()
He celebrated his goals with class today. Some others could learn from that.

Ramsey v Pogba would be a good thread.
He's just a joy to watch. Truly remarkable.
To be fair, it's much easier when the fans of your ex-club treat you with the same class.
FFS!! Ramsey didn't retire from the national team to concentrate on his club though, herein lies the difference.
What the feck are you raving on about Giggs for?
I was (and I'm sure Grinner was too) referring to van Persie.

I don't rate him. He'll fade away back to mediocrity before long.
jus' kiddin he's not bad
Agreed. He's an average top four midfielder, nothing more. Cleverley could go on and score 5 or so goals, but it won't make him a world beater. Same with Ramsey.
You must be taking the piss?
Nothing to do with Cleverly, but Ramsey brings much more to the table than his goals. His pressure and tackling is brilliant, he doesn't stop motoring along either.

Nah, he's always had loads of potential, he just was slow to get there because of the leg break and all that. He's got plenty to his game, the goals now just adds to it and makes him stand out. He's really two footed, excellent technically, very good passer both long and short passing, and has very good energy levels. He's still very young as well. This season he's just finally realizing his potential.

Cardiff fan's showed a lot of class I thought. Some others could learn from that.He celebrated his goals with class today. Some others could learn from that.
