Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal Player

I don't like what he keeps doing with his shorts.

Yeah that always weirded me out, he's been doing it for ages now, even in training.

Weren't they the only one to show any solid interest? Which I found weird if you asked me, had a cracking season and World Cup.

Liverpool and Juventus too - don't think Juve were stumping up the cash though so I guess that wasn't really a proper option.

It's catching on...

I doubt you'll see Sanchez doing it so much on a cold, windy, January, Monday night away at Stoke ;)

He is going to be excellent. Once we win the league and he is pl proven we will be in for him ;)

I feel bad for Sanchez, one minute, biggest name in the premier league, one Falcao, Di Maria and Balotelli later he barely gets a mention!

Very hot and cold season for him so far, probably the reason why no one was fussed when he went there in the first place

IMO, he was never going to be the biggest name in the EPL.

Not with Aguero, Yaya, Silva, Kompany, Rooney, RvP, Costa, Fabregas, Hazard etc all around.

But yeah, get what you're saying - his signing has fallen under the radar since our splurge.

Could well suit him though. Less pressure to perform etc.

some people wanted him instead of Di Maria, happy that we didnt go for him.
One is a very good player, one is a top 5 player, I think we're all extremely happy. Not to say I don't think he'll do well though, I actually feel he'll be brilliant at Arsenal and not at all a flop. But Di Maria is exactly what we've been missing.

He had a shocker today, but I expect him to come good for them.

Di Maria is not a top 5 player.

He's not better than Robben, Ribery, or Suarez.
AdM is better than Ribery for sure, not sure about Robben, that one's more down to personal opinion, but I'll admit to Suarez being perhaps slightly better.

Sanchez is a very good player, no doubt about it. For the money they paid I am confident he will prove to be a good buy. He's had a couple of off days but even so he still puts a good amount of effort in, which you can't say about some. Then when he's good he's really good, certainly the least of Arsenal's concerns.

One good season and a move to Manchester United and now he's top 5? The mind boggles

I think he'll be fantastic for them and I wouldn't be shocked if he was their top scorer this season, I rate him very, very highly.

First of all, no not just one good season. Second of all, how many great seasons has Suarez had? 2? And he's yet to do it at the highest level...So should we question his place in the top 5?

Yeah, I really can't see Sanchez flopping. He has to much about him. Fantastic player.

He's top 10 in the world. Name me 9 players right now better than him.
I'd probably put him top 10 but there's no way he's top 5. Messi, Ronaldo, Ibra, Suarez, Robben, Ribery, Iniesta for sure.
