Thought he was fantastic today. Gave Enrique a lot of problems.
Is there a better player in the league at the moment?
Well, yea, a few, but he's the best at what he does.
Imagine a Tony Valencia as right back with his pace, power, pure speed, crossing ability and nani on the right wing with his tricks, shooting power. Best right side in the epl r even the world.
Is it just me who constantly get surprised by his immense stamina? Game in game out he seems to out-endure his fullback. Today he wasnt that dominant in the first half (though he did trouble Enrique into what should have been a yellow card) but he just got more and more dangerous in the second. In the end Enrique seemed ragged while Tony looked like the match had just begun.
Its amazing that he can keep on giving 100% for entire matches every week, especially for a winger who has important defensive duties as well.
Didn't that happen against Fulham, resulting in a fair amount of rape?Imagine a Tony Valencia as right back with his pace, power, pure speed, crossing ability and nani on the right wing with his tricks, shooting power. Best right side in the epl r even the world.
Had a good day out against the best LB in the league today.
Apparently Johnsons the best right back.
Enrique struggled with him from the off.
Should've been booked for pulling him down in the first few minutes.
Yes Enrique did struggle but I think he coped better than any other left back who Valencia has faced this season.
Ramires, strangely, did a much better job.
The crazy folk at RAWK seem to think he is awesome(they're not all COMPLETELY off their heads after all)
Valencia is no better than what we have imo
No he's not. He's pacy but has no end product at all.He is. He's actually far better than what we have.
Bosingwa, strangely, did a much better job.
Well, not all of them;
He's better than what we have, but at the same time people *** over him when he's easily THE most wasteful player they have in their side. I've said it all this season and most of last. If people watched him more often they'd see just how many times he wastes possession, shoots when he shouldn't at all, or over crosses the ball.
But still they ***.
The only thing I'm worried about with him is burnout. He's racked up a lot of games recently, hopefully he can get a break against Ajax if we get one of young or nani fit.
