Look at the incident from the linesman's perspective. I understand what everyone is fussing about regarding the Chelsea "goal" yesterday. It was a rather ambiguous call and because of that ambiguity, he shouldn't have called it. But if you look at the Vidic incident from the offside camera, you can clearly see that his arm was clearly outstretched and had contact with the ball.

I'm not excusing the linesman today, I'm simply saying that in terms of what is worse:

Inventing a goal > missing a handball

Vidic committed a foul and got away with it, big deal... Just like Henry. People were wrong in singling out Henry as a "special" cheater, you don't need to keep hammering Vidic to save face. It happens, no team is free of every once in a while getting away with it.

He was miles away and couldn't have seen it because he was wrong. And if you're not entirely sure you don't give it. He's invented a non existent goal.

thats only your opinion of it which with respest means nothing, the linesman called it and stood by his decision, yes he probably regrets it now but he called it as he saw it, its as simple as that, unless you believe the linesman is bent?

What a ball in from Nani.Just needed someone to take the early gamble
