4th really is the battle of the most confident side. If Arsenal finish this season like last after being knocked out of Europe and the FA cup in a matter of weeks, they're fecked.

It's probably just blind loyalty to a bet from earlier in the season, but I still think Chelsea and Arsenal will finish 3rd and 4th.

Similar fixtures, but I think it very marginally makes me favour Chelsea - especially if they can establish a lead in the next three games. However, you'd have to expect Chelsea to advance in the Champions League and the FA Cup despite their poor form. The fact they're still in these competitions and Arsenal are realistically not could actually allow Arsenal to sneak 4th. A lot could also ride on that near-end of season game at the Emirates. Much like how the League Title could well be decided at Eastlands the following weekend. Would have been amazing if both of those fixtures happened on the same day!

I think Chelsea. This season has been a (relative) disaster, but they've got far more talent than Liverpool and Arsenal. The drawback for Chelsea would be if they advance in both the FA Cup and CL, they'll have a harder road to navigate, and certainly do what they can to win the CL, even if that means resting Mata, Sturridge, and other key players. I can't see Spurs finishing anything but 3rd.
Chelsea are better than Arsenal. It would be great to see Arsenal finish 5th, probably meaning the end of Arsene's reign at the Emirates.

It's much more amusing, to me, to see Roman's millions fail than Wenger's thick headed ideology.

I reckon we'll beat Arsenal next week on the back of this cup win. But that will be end of our goalscoring as unfortunately I'm noticing our players seem to rest on their laurels a bit too much. With Spurs getting arse-raped by ManUtd yet again for the 20th season Sky have owned football coverage, it starts opening up 3rd place as well.

In fairness that was Liverpool's first team that played yesterday while we thought a combination of our 2nd/3rd XI would do the job against Palace.

I've said all along I think Arsenal will get it. It's a collective stumble rather than a race but they should have enough, especially if that win yesterday gives them to confidence boost it should do.
And Newcastle beat us. What does that prove.
If Spurs lose some of the big games coming up their arses will start to go. Still should finish 3rd but wouldn't rule out the possibility of them slipping back.
