 I really doubt they sent anyone to watch the match. It's a paper full of no-talent assclown writers. What do we expect?

Jesus - I deny the existence of ABU journalism, but the Mail is trying bloody hard to persuade me. I watched the game and thought he was quite promising, certainly one of our better players (considering we lost 4-1). He's very fast, strong, good cross and a decent long range shot. Looks like a promising winger - still a long way to go, but the Mail's treatment of the lad is despicable.

Fergie should ban all of Daily Mail

I don't know if they are banned or not but the Mail has long had it in for Fergie. It all kicked of when that bastard Piers Morgan was at the Mail and he undertook a personal crusade against Fergie.

Then the Mail tried to improve relations with SAF once Piers Morgan had left. The new editor asked SAF what he could do to improve their relations to which Fergie politely replied "Just feck off and die".

Were those daft fecks watching the same game as the rest of us?

What a shit article.

He did alright, his first game and all. He's pretty good at holding the ball and seemed eager to take on the Aston Villa players, really didn't have any support from the right back so he did just fine. He's fast, his crossing is alright and will hopefully just get better. With better players around him, he'll do better.

He was far from dire but not brilliant either, but hey, it's his first game.

Now, the Daily Mail are really trying to shoot this kid down, it's disturbing actually. What do they have against the guy?

I think its unfair to "big" him up as a world beater or put him down after our reserves performed so terribly, but i did feel if he had more support from the fall backs and to a extent from midfield he would have been far more effective. I think there is definately something there for United to work on but it was a semi-impressive performance from him.

Aren't you talking about the Mirror there and not the Daily Mail? Last I heard Morgan was still writing for the Mail

I thought his debut was really promising... He's fast and his crossing is excellent. Only problem tonight was no one was able to get on the end of them they were that quick!

It's the Mail. He's from a poor background and foreign. He is now an immigrant and he probably causes cancer too.

Fergie should ban all of Daily Mail

He should buy as Christmas gifts and give it to a couple of these journos, most of them have earned them and deserve to shot something.

That's it. Im scooping up a warm turd from my west highland terrier and sending it to the sports editor at the mail. I'm not even joking.

Not sure if that's better or worse. I mean, he's always primarily played wide.... But we're trying to change him?

But we aren't attempting to change him, that's a fabrication in itself, he was described as an attacker, which many Portuguese have elaborated on as a wide player, yet some thought it meant striker.

Experts eh?

"Sir Alex Ferguson, who signed Bebe without watching him play, didn't turn up to see him last night either "

pretty sure SAF has better things to do then watch the reserves :wenger::wenger:

pretty sure Ole is paid to manage the reserves and pass on his report etc to the boss !

And I like to think that Fergie gets MUTV too.

I had no idea what type of player I was expecting when I first watched him. Maybe it was the hair, but I had an image of Regi Blinker reincarnate for some reason :wenger:
From the reports I had read, probably from people that never had seen him play either, I had gathered we would see no tactical knowledge or discipline in the slightest. In stead I found myself nodding in acknowledgment, at similarities to what we lost for six months last night. Stays close to the sideline, and looks for the backline. As anyone who has been to some kind of try-outs, not that the Faroes under 15's should be compared to a Manchester United reserve game, I could tell he was very nervous. Not because of body language or any of that modern crap, but because the player we saw in the last 10 minutes, was a completely different player to the one we saw in the first 10. I am not trying to big him up, in fact I am trying to be as objective as possible.
There was one moment that left my jaw dropping. I don't mean the expression, but I literally found myself wiping drool of my chin. The boy is very fast.

don't hold this against me if it's shit, I have 39C fever, and can't sleep :annoyed:

Quite impressed with him from that youtube 2 minutes. Looks keen to get the ball into the area, his touch was nice, good feet, good turn of pace. Exactly what I expected from the what everyone has said of him, really.

Yeah.. tbh, i thought he did extremely well on the right flank. In fact, our strikers should be slapped silly for not even getting into good positions to latch onto his crosses. I see him as a hybrid between Nani and Valencia, ie pacy and skillful, yet extremely strong and orthodox. Can't wait to see how he performs in 6 months time.
