Agreed, miss aside, it's great to see him being brought in and performing at an excellent level virtually every time he's called upon now. I love to see him do well.
No bump for this?
Thought he was very good.
Customary sitter missed, but was very good throughout the game. Did his bit tracking back and winning the ball too.
thought he played pretty well tonight
He has looked good in most of his recent starts.
But he is still in limbo
Well he is!!!

Decent game but he's still too slow though.
Showed some sublime stuff today.
Is it just me or is his new haircut making him look like the girl with the dragon tatoo?
"I am a Manchester United player, but I do not currently play in as many games as I want," he told Bulgarian sports website sportal.bg.
"I'm not happy that I do not play. But I cannot blame anyone, especially in the media.
"When I have something to say, I go and talk face to face with the manager. He decides everything."
Speaking about his future at United, Berbatov added: "There was nothing concrete as an offer to me. I read about such things, but they are more speculation.
"I do not know how long I will stay at Manchester United.
"To my knowledge, the clause to extend my contract for another year is automatically activated in March. I know nothing more."

Given he's being paid a 100k a week to do sweet all, he should atleast have the dignity to keep it within the club.
Harsh. He's played it well in public imo.
Regardless of how much time a player gets, that for me is something which should stay within the club.

He's kept it in the club and even in the interview he's saying he can't say anything in the media. So what's your complaint?
There's another Berba detractor who has repeatedly said that Berba shouldn't be happy to be sat on the bench - well there you have it, he's not happy to be on the bench. He doesn't say it anyone's fault but, he's not happy. He's not thrown out his toys, he talks to the person he should talk about it to and accepts what that person says go.
fecking marvelous attitude I must say.
So why say anything at all? Why does he have to say to the interviewer he's not getting the time on the pitch he would like?
People crack the shits when player agents go to the press and state they don't feel that their player is getting what they are owed, how is this any different?
Quite frankly he should have got the message in the CL final, and after the Newcastle game. It's not that he's not wanted, it's that there is 3 strikers that perform for United far better than Berbatov.
Because he's being interviewed and he answered a simple question. Or are you this vocal about any time a player says anything in the press or is it just Berbatov that isn't allowed to speak to the press at all?
It's fantastic that he isn't happy - it probably means he's working harder to be selected.
And what message are you talking about that he isn't wanted? The one where Fergie keeps saying we want to keep him and the fact that the club is choosing to extend his contract - that says he isn't wanted. I must have woken up in opposites world.
His stats this season:
11 starts and 8 sub appearances. 906 minutes.
10 goals. 30 shots. 15 on target.
That's a goal for every third shot he takes. Goalkeepers have only made 5 saves against him.
A goal every 90.6 minutes, so basically he scores every game.
Still there are 15 players who played more minutes than him, 16 that have more starts.
If you want only his league stats he has 10 games, 5 of which he started. 489 minutes in total and 7 goals. That's a goal every 70 minute. Whilst he's been on the pitch we've scored 13 goals. That's a goal every 38 minute.
It's the best scoring stat in the league. Last season he was 2nd only to RvP.
I'm not happy any time a player goes to the press about their issues.
Oh and it's the one where he's not playing in 8 out of 10 games. If he was training hard, I'd dare say Fergie would be giving him more game time to keep himself sharp. He's played 95 minutes since the end of December.
