we should get berbatov to hand in a transfer request..that'll teach the spurs cnuts.
No idea. Why was today THE day? Because United are leaving for Africa?
Well, CH was wrong about Berbatov joining you in January and wrong about Spurs signing Anton Ferdinand (as if we ever would) a few weeks ago. In both cases the Spurs ITKs were right, just as they've been right about Dos Santos, Gomes, Bent, Kaboul and many other transfers, and just as I expect them to be right about Bentley.... Thanks for the updates. So far your sources seem to not be as "in the know" as Cockneyhammer on Tevez.
There are several people with a proven and largely consistent track-record. We're not talking here about some random collection of Spurs fans making wild guesses based on media speculation.@ ITK Spurs fans.
Anyone could have cobbled together all that bollox from buying the Sunday World over the last fortnight. And they quite probably have.
I'd guess then that you'd be happy for R. Madrid to do the same with Ronaldo.we should get berbatov to hand in a transfer request..that'll teach the spurs cnuts.
The ITK concerned has made no further comments, which from one way of looking at it means no back-tracking.
However, a different ITK has this morning said MUFC have given Spurs a take it or leave it offer and the first reports of our response are words to effect of "bye bye fergie".
I realise that on this forum mention of Spurs ITK info is usually met with howls of derision, but both of these ITKs are respected, with a good track record.
Make of it what you will.
Jesus Christ.....£28 million we're being taken for total mugs.
And for the record, he is NOT as good as Bergkamp.
I rather have had Santa Cruz

I'd .
Heigh ho Tonto, being the loan arranger isn't going to get you a big pile of silver. The main way of increasing the club's value prior to any sale is by having everything in place - finance, a site and planning permission - for a new, increased capacity stadium, since this would bring about a guaranteed large increase in annual turnover. This it was the club are now arranging, with planning permission expected this Autumn for a new stadium to be built on land the club have already acquired right next door to the current stadium.
I just hope that this isn't going to rumble on for the whole summer.
If we want him we should just pay the fecking money or just move onto other targets.
I really don't want us starting next season with only Rooney and Tevez as recognised strikers.
Aye, cause last season was a disaster.

Just because we got away with it dont make it right
Hehe so all it took was a youtube video, can we then perhaps say that you hadn't actually watched enough Spurs games to really understand how good he is?
Eh, you can hear him choking back the tears.Hehehe, I love how GS trying to make United is the one who's going to come out worse in this whole deal.
It may well have been without Ronaldos 42 goals.
It could have been had Tevez and Rooney both got injured at the same time.
Do you want to take that chance this year?

Looks like the deal is off. Time to search for another target.

What you have to consider is, we didnt just 'cope' last season. We were fantastically successful.
It doesnt really matter who we bring in. Even if we signed someone for £7 million it'd be helping us out big time with striker depth.
I hope we do that for once. We always bet bullied to pay over the odds. For once we should actually put a take it or leave it offer.Looks like the deal is off. Time to search for another target.
To be fair even if one of Tevez or Rooney had gotten injured for last stretch of the season, we could have missed out on both of the trophies. And we overworked our front three anyway. I won't be totally against not buying anyone and just throwing in Manucho and Campbell. But given that we don't need to strengthen any other area in our team, spending the cash on a proven striker makes sense. What you have to consider is, we didnt just 'cope' last season. Just a hunch. Spurs are digging in their heels and United will not pay so much for a 27-yr old.

What could be holding it all up is Liverscums interest in Keane. .
When was the last time WE walked away from a major mega million pound deal over price?? Think about it carefully.
Once we identify someone we want its because we've identified how they will fit into the side...you dont suddenly switch from spending 28mil on one player to another because we dont want to pay 2 or 3 million more.
A deal will be reached. Put your mortgages on it...and your children.
We'll still end up signing him. SAF wants him, The player wants to join us and Spurs will sell to raise cash for other targets.
What could be holding it all up is Liverscums interest in Keane. Spurs won't (Quite rightly) sell there two best strikers until adequate top quality replacements are found.
