Allegri
Conte and Ancelotti

Saw somewhere earlier that Chelsea are looking at Pochettino as a replacement for Conte, can't see it happening. Doubt Spurs would let him leave even if he was interested.
No point sacking conte now before the end of the season, especially if his last game is the fa cup final. Even roman isn't that naive. Both reasonable. I think Conte won't be in charge for the last game personally.
That's cheating and therefore not a valid entry to my prize giveaway!
If your talking prime Mou not even close, modern day Jose on the other hand ....To think he believed he's better then Mou
It's a tired point borne of lazy analysis in general but in this instance we aren't talking about a big club we are talking about Chelsea not United, Real, Barca, or BM. You're biggest achievement had Di Matteo at the helm and not a serial winner. Your club's success has been a result of whatever the Russian will pay for and not your general status as a big club. Chelsea and PSG aren't big clubs they are rich clubs. He needs to win something before he's ready for a big club.
Decline is right only if Roman doesn’t bankroll top quality transfers. Selling to buy will only get you so far. As for those idiots who demand that Conte resign and forgo his 9 million pound payoff, which coach with half a brain cell would do that?I'm predicting decline for Chelsea.
No CL football next season means 1 or 2 or of their best players will be poached away, coupled with more managerial instability. In the longer run, when they start construction on their new stadium they face several years playing their home games at Wembley.
And in the meanwhile the huge construction-costs drain on funds will means that Abramovich will not be bailing them out in terms of transfer funds and wage-costs.
He needs to win something before he's ready for a big club.
I don't buy into all this Chelsea are going to struggle in the next few seasons. They're still a good run club and being out of the Champions league will help them not hinder them. Much like under Conte last season, having no CL football will mean they get to rest their players and concentrate on the Premier League only and it wouldn't surprise me if they win it under a new manager.
Chelsea will still win more than Spurs over the next 5 years though, it’s just how it is.I'm predicting decline for Chelsea.

Your whole purported mastery of the art of eschatology is a delusion! The complacency of some supporters and clubs is astounding, a complacency that precedes decline. I remember being widely criticised on here some years ago for predicting the break-up of what had been the established top 4. I showed the emerging trend with solid facts and figures, but again this idea of there being such a trend was ridiculed.
Maybe so, but I was not one of them. My prediction for Chelski to finish outside the top 4 was stated before the season began.
Unless Chelsea fails to make FA Cup final. As disappointing season as it is, It's a bit too late to sack Conte when there still be something to fight for even how small it is in the form of FA Cup.Both reasonable. I think Conte won't be in charge for the last game personally.
This deserves aNo one wanted him back. As bad as the last two transfer windows have been, missing out on Lukaku was a bullet dodged as far as i'm concerned, he's not good enough. Morata is a better player and i'm confident he'll end up showing it in the near future, whether that's with us or elsewhere.
But all of the clubs mentioned have won a combined 7 or 8 trophies in the past 3 years. Spurs have won zero. But guess what, Chelsea out of the top 4 for the 2nd time in 3 years, Arsenal outside of it for the 2nd year running, United have been outside the top 4 for several of the recent years ... and Spurs are about to finish in the top 4 for the 3rd season running.

It's how it has been over the past years. Whether it will be remains to be seen.

Their transfer window let them down, just like in Jose's last season. I don't believe the blame is squarely at the foot of the manager, he is moaning because he knows things would have been very different if he had been properly backed, especially since he proved himself last season. Any manager would be grumpy if he weren't backed to get his targets after winning the title.
I also don't think Conte's Costa mess was that big a deal. He got a fine replacement in Morata. Mentally, he may not be as good as Costa or Lukaku, but his technical attributes more than make up for it. He'll need time to settle as the main striker at a club, game in and game out. Again, if they had kept Matic, RLC, Musonda, Batshuayi, Abraham and spent money on another top signing instead of a scattergun approach towards Barkley, Bakayoko, Giroud, Drinkwater and Emerson, things could have been far better.
But next season they'll still have these annoying EL matches. It's only last season where they were completely out of Europe.
Nope, can't agree with that. Costa is a fierce competitor and a winner, he would have dragged Chelsea to 4th easily. That one is on Conte.
In your scenario, who of the current players, will be sold ? Martial ?I'm predicting Montella to be the next Chelsea manager.
And I hope Hazard does a Hazard again, and joins us next season because we have Champions League football.![]()

It wouldn't be at all. I'm french and I like the kid but United is the priority, if selling Martial can help clear some squad room (and if it can help his career too) then I'm for it.Mata.
And I know this is an unpopular opinion on here, but Martial being sold wouldn't be the end of the world IMO.
