Let's be fair, not been that hard to score against us recently, our defence has been an abomination all season... funnily enough that game you speak of Morata had a goal incorrectly flagged for offside just before Lukaku steamrolled through to set up the winner.
In any case, it doesn't automatically cancel out the previous 7 shithouse performances he's put in against us does it?
Football is a fickle game though,
here's a link to the Lukaku thread after the reverse fixture, perhaps you should refresh your memory before saying it's an outlandish comment.
A very biased and rather ironic view. Lukaku has a better scoring record but Morata has far superior technique and hold up play. There's a genuine gem in that player somewhere, and with a proper season under his belt I think he'll start to show it.
For him on a personal level he wasted much of his career as a bit part player for Madrid, never really got a look in even when Benzema was out of form so he's somewhat of a late starter, but so was Drogba, and if Morata can be half as good as he was then we've done something right.
I'm willing to bet the Madrid fans didn't want him to leave.
We'll see, i'll give it till sometime next season before you're calling for his head and want Rashford/Martial/another £100m centre-forward playing up front.
