The gradual decline in dribbling was always evident but the lack of long range goals was a surprise to me. This is the first season at Madrid where he's failed to score from outside in the box in the CL - 0 in 12 games this season compared to 3 in 6 in his first season at Madrid is a remarkable difference - and overall he's scored the fewest goals from outside the box this season compared to any other in his time at Madrid. Perhaps this really is the start of his decline...

He scored as many great goals from outside the box in his first season at United as he did this season for Madrid. That's amazing considering he scored just under 8x as many goals! Here's his great goals over his 6 seasons at United...

Guess those who complain about him being poacher have every right. I guessed he scores lot of one-touch goals, but never realized it was this much.

I don't see the difference in scoring from 10 touches or 1, a goal is a goal and goals win games.
 
He scored 1 less than our team did in the league, on his own.

Shaw-----Smalling-----Jones-----Valencia
De Gea/valdes​
Proper Sir Alex lineup, and we could field that with 1 signing. the goals in that side if we nabbed ronny :lol:

It's kind of funny how one name can turn a team that finished 4th into the second best team in the world just like that.
