Which only underlines the real truth of the situation, ironically.Someone should call him out on this xenophobic shit, but his pals in the press will protect him as usual.

He literally got a job several pay grades above his ability for the sole reason of being British. Would a German manager whose most impressive achievement was keeping FC Koln in the top half of the Bundesliga for a decade be given the Manchester United job? Would he feck!
I like his way of playing but he needs time to create his team and thats exactly what top teams doesn't have.
I liked how they played against us at OT at times and even today against Liverpool they were quite good in parts.
He isn't a top 4 manager but definitely top 10 and if he is given time with some financial backing, he would definitely do very well .
West ham, Everton , Stoke all would be good fit for him.
That draw wasn't even of his doing, Pool's defense all decided to take a rain check and gifted them two penos alongside a horde of chances. Credit![]()
Maybe a few years ago but definitely not now with PL money.
He wouldn't get near top 6, then Everton have Koeman who's better, West Ham have Billic who's done more, Stoke has Mark Hughes who's better. West Brom have Pulis, who is also miles better. So is Big Sam. He's a bottom 5 manager who's targets are making them at best 8th place team, but he's not capable.
Hasn't this been disproved many times before, with Everton budget & wage bill is pretty much reflects their annual finishing position? What has all these managers done in EPL to prove he is better than Moyes ? With a shoe string budget, Moyes constantly had Everton in top 6 . He even got a top 4 as well. What has Pulis , Sam or Hughes done yet to prove they are better ? The only reason why I am giving Koeman a free pass in that list is because of his continental experience.
We can all hate the guy as much as we want . But the fact is he simply wasn't cut for the big job. But that should take anything away from his achievements with Everton.

He didn't keep Everton with a shoe string budget in top 6. His average position in Everton was 7.8, the average wage for Everton was 8th.What has all these managers done in EPL to prove he is better than Moyes ? Moyes seems to be completely broken at this point. Not sure he'll get another PL job straight after if he's sacked now.
Nah im sure he will find a job abroad based on reputation alone, maybe in Dubai or something. As a PL manager I agree, he'll be done for awhileHe is finished as a manager if he gets sacked imo. His last two jobs have not been given on a technicaliteh.
Don't think you can blame him for going to United, he'd have spent forever wondering how it would have panned out. Safe to say he'll regret it now though, I guess Moyes and Everton were just a good match. Awful manager.Should've never left Everton. He had a good thing there.

But you can't really blame him for leaving when a big club finally came calling. Should have chosen better than Sunderland to manage after it went wrong at Sociedad though.
Are they though? Hull are rated worse and they're probably on par with Swansea in terms of quality. He will keep Sunderland out of the relegation zone. This was a completely dismantled and it drew with Liverpool. Performances like today will happen and is part of the process. I think the board is mature enough to know this. Still half a season left with a very good chance to crawl out of the bottom 3. On paper they are the worst team in the league.
Who? Who the hell wanted to sign David Moyes after what transpired at United and Sociedad?
I'm sure he was linked to a bunch of championship clubs but he had ideas above his station and wanted a big club.

Not disputing they're one of the worst teams in the division (on paper) but didn't Allardyce have them playing as a more effective unit?I'm no fan of Moyes but this squad of his is really terrible. Only Hull look as weak on paper, but at least they have an honest group of workers. Sunderland have been on life support for a good while now and it was always going to catch up with them at some point, Moyes or no Moyes.
Wouldn't be a premier league season if Sunderland fans weren't walking out at half time.
Ok, I get your point then and am inclined to agree with you.
