Real shame that James isn't fit, hate to see teams without their star player in the latter rounds of the World Cup.

That said, brilliant chance for England to go through. I like either team and we could only face the winner in the final so I just want to be entertained tonight.

For the non-believers: Henderson hasn't lost his last 28 games in an England shirt, the longest streak in English history. :drool:

If not Leicester, then who in your opinion played the most entertaining or/and most exciting football in 2015/16? Without bringing up the obvious fact that the big teams didn't really show up. Not to derail this thread.
 
James out is a real blow for colombia but they have other quality players so they should still trouble england

Alli starting is probably fair, loftus cheek was poor against belgium so hasnt done enough to start ahead of alli

Just came back from Sweden vs Switzerland game. The worst match in this round so far in terms of quality. Hope England or Colombia knock Sweden out in the next round.
 
Going for 3-1 England, should be a decent match but can't see Colombia having enough to trouble England too much.
 
England's record in tournament games broadcast exclusively on ITV is very poor compared to the BBC ones. Let's bury that meaningless 'curse' here.
 
Just Henderson holding in this one could be an issue I think, thought RLC would stay in.
 
A lot of inexperience and potential for bottling it in this England side. Let’s hope GNevs prematch description of this being the biggest game of their lives hasn’t dawned on most of them.

I like your anthem. The iteration was poor though. I don’t like countries overdoing their anthem like al those dramatic latin Americans. You’re shite singers shut the feck up and politely lip sync it like a normal person.
 
Colombia by two. Ashley Young is going to be found out by Cuadrado. And as for Stones and Maguire, well if they are your best centre halves then England are in trouble.
