Japan Vs Belgium was a much better match with on this showing at least 2 much better teams

Henderson going down holding his face is as big a disgrace than anything Neymar has done playacting wise
Nah, Neymar dies a few times per match, each of which is worse than Henderson's playacting. Most players would have reacted like Henderson.

Common sense. That was in no way dangerous play.

Unless you think someone lightly grazing your head on another player's chest should always be a red?
Not dangerous play but it was violent conduct.

Congratulations to the Swedish guys in here!! Fantastic from your guys. Work ethic and tactically brilliant. Hopefully one day a Norwegian team will do the same.
You delivered 98’, my northern brother.

The amount of potable water football players waste to take a small sip is outrageous.

I haven't been reading the caf. What's your thoughts on the little tustle in the box with hendo?

It's funny how England commentators on ITV and England football supporters always take pride or talk about the contact of football, yet when Columbia does these physical 'tactics' that you see all the time with Alli, Henderson, etc. at club level, then now it shouldn't be allowed?
Nice strawman. When have you ever heard an England commentator praise bear hugging or headbutting players?

They admire strong, fair challenges. Not blatant disregard for the rules.

There isn't. Intentionally using your head to butt someone else is a red. It's cut and dry.

We have seen referees give yellows for it in the past though. Whether it's using discretion or just bottling a decision, it isn't that unusual.

I think we've done okay. Marginally the better team, but we've not created anything decent. The same for Colombia too, but we need to show a bit more in the second half as it's tight.

I admit I was paying more attention to what was going on around him with the afters, but I didn't think he went particularly overboard in his reaction. Went down, held his face for a bit, then got up. Maybe I missed something.

It was 30% of the intensity of the Ariel Ortega headbutt stab on van der Sar. Still a red though.

At a guess I'd say it's partly bad luck, partly your own bias making the decisions that don't go your way seem worse? Fairly sure I've seen at least two other countries' fans say the same thing.

Plus VAR did give ye a penalty against Panama, I think?
I'm pretty sure all the countries and clubs fans say the same thing.:)

Foul and a red card but Henderson was pathetic. He went full Neymar and you never go full Neymar.

England has been the better team in the first half, but the only half-chance was that of Harry Kane. Could go both ways, but England looks very organized in defense, while Colombia's attack has been non-existent.

Alli and Sterling ruin this team.

I was no advocate of RLC, but I fancy him to have an impact against these with his physicality. And I'd have Rashford in there over Sterling all day.

England needs to shoot more. At least make Ospina work.

Two shite teams playing a shite game of football.

See the way when the ref sprayed the white line... the Colombians went mad for it

A fluke goal from Colombia or this goes to penalties. Either way, smells like inevitable England loss.

Not overboard? C'mon man, that touch did not warrant falling over whatsoever. He even held his face which never got touched. Complete overreaction.
