löw changed back to 4231/424 from the 433, which we played during the worldcup. We always looked awful defensively with this formation, especially when the two central midfielder play so high up the pitch. The Scots would deserve a point here and durm should have been send off.

Regardless of what happens tonight, Strachan has done one hell of a job with Scotland. I guess it just goes to show how important the right manager can be for a team. The sad thing is that Scotland have put in better performances in the last year than England have had in the last 10-15 years and could wven possibly overtake us in the FIFA rankings soon if things carry on the way they are at the moment. I don't know why but he seems to have lost all of his easy going attitude and confidence. The WC final goal that was the kind of stuff I was used to see him try, no fear, no thoughts of not it not working just make the best out of the situation you're in. These days he seems to be over-thinking it too much which makes him slow and he barely ever takes on an opponent.
I sometimes felt like the hype about him went a bit to his head after he joined Bayern and somehow he lost a lot of his unconcerned attitude he still had under Klopp. I hope he can find this attitude and confidence in his skills again and stops thinking too much on the field.
