Europa League 2015/2016

I have been surprised by Origi recently. Always though he was a bit of a donkey but he looks to have some real potential. Where has Markovic gone BTW?
Markovic is on loan at Fenerbache I think. He's due back at the end of the season and I think Klopp wants to give him a chance but we'll see if he has a future. I'm not sure if he's good enough.

On Origi, he's bulked up. If you look at him from the start of the season compared to now you can see the difference and he's benefited from it. He's in a good place right now so we'll see if he can push on or not.

Only Juventus have also lost more European Cup finals than them.

5 out of 5 isn't terrible. Benfica is tied with them in lost finals but only won 2, plust they lost the 3 UEFA Cup / EL finals they've been to. Nearly as abysmal as Juventus.

Just seen the score and it was just about to come on the news. I turned over...

Let me guess what the news coverage will be like:

*bong* "Liverpool complete heroic comeback!"
*bong* "Oh and BTW, a massive asteroid's about to wipe out life on earth...now, more about Liverpool."

I'm not sure why people are so worked up about this? Other than the unlikely scenario of both City and Pool winning their tournaments and United coming 4th and missing out on CL, why does it matter so much if Liverpool win? Them being in the CL will help them attract slightly better players yes but they'd have done that anyway with Klopp being there. Also, money matters and players would still choose money over Liverpool imo. Liverpool won't really win the CL even if they're in it so I'm not too worried and I guess them having midweeks busy is better than no European football and having a shot at the league title. Maybe I'm alone in this but I'm not really bothered if Liverpool do win the Europa.

Great match to watch but a painful result. Can't deny the fact that the players are feeling very well playing for their manager. Which can't be said about our mess.

Our club is losing value, 'Pool is getting their act together. Woody?

Yeah those clubs are in a bit of a league of their own.

The manner in which Bayern have lost some of them though is quite tragic in itself. Leading in both 87 and 99, losing one at the Allianz of all places against a dreadful Chelsea team on penalties.

Don´t forget 2010. :wenger:

Feck, think Sevilla might be the slightly better team.
I think player for player they are better but as a team there seems to be little between them. Sevilla have yet to play to their full potential this season imo.

Would be hilarious if City and Liverpool won the European tournaments in what's been called one of the wankest years in PL history for top clubs.

Haha. You just knew he was missing as soon as the commentator said that.
