Round 6
KO - 17:15 GMT
Team should be...
GK: Foster
RB: O'Shea
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Evans
LB: Fabio
RM: Park
CM: Gibson
CM: Scholes
LM: Nani
CF: Rooney
CF: Berbatov
Subs: VDS, Vidic, Anderson, Giggs, Fletcher, Carrick, Tevez, Welbeck
Berbatov has a great record at their ground so expect him to score and us to win and roll onto the semi's
Ferdinand surely needs a rest ahead of Inter after 120 minutes at Wembley, then 90 today.
Sir Alex Ferguson hopes Rio Ferdinand's 120-minute Wembley workout has set him up nicely for the run-in at the heart of United's defence.
Rio has played in only eight of United's 15 games so far in 2009, having missed more than a month over December and January with a back injury he sustained in the warm-up against Stoke on Boxing Day.
But Sir Alex feels the defender is back in the groove after his appearance in the penalty shoot-out win over Spurs in the Carling Cup final on Sunday.
"I wanted to play Rio in the Carling Cup final because he's not played a lot of games since December," the Reds boss said in his pre-Newcastle press conference.
"I needed to get him back into his rhythm. He's a big lad and big defenders need to play games.
"Now he's got a really good game under his belt, I hope Ferdinand and [Nemanja] Vidic will be a solid partnership between now and the end of the season."
Jacob's Prediction

I can see us going out here, either that or a draw, either will be a loss imo.

SUbs: Kuzczak, Evans, Eckersley, Anderson, Rooney, Berbatov, Fletcher
Prediction: 1-0 victory to us with a goal from Tevez. Rooney, Anderson to get some game time in the 2nd half replacing young Welbeck and Gibson
It's the FA Cup... I think it's safe to say we'll rest a few players for Inter, but I don't think we'll see a 'weak' team but a team which is good enough to secure us going through to the semi-finals.
Foster
Neville (c) - Vidic - Evans - Fabio
Fletcher - Giggs - Anderson
Nani - Rooney - Tevez
Ronaldo, Evra, Carrick, Scholes, Park, Berbatov, Ferdinand, O'Shea and Van der Sar will all be starting against Inter (IMHO), but it's very hard to guess who will play on Saturday...
We'll go through I reckon, but it's going to be a tough fight.
Agreed.Much better to have 4-4-2 with Nani covering the right. We all know Fletcher is hopeless and a liability when he played on the right. In central midfield, Fletcher would be awesome, on the right, he is not going to offer much to the team. Keep the centre midfield pairing that beat Chelsea, that would be a good way to approach Fulham in this Cup-tie.
I have a feeling Rooney won't start against Inter, but Park and Fletcher will. Either Giggs or Scholes also will so the one that doesnt will play against Fulham. Evra and Vidic should be rested (maybe give Fabio a game?)

Why would Rooney not play?
Because I think SAF may go three in midfield and have Park and Ronaldo on the wings. Might be wrong though
