Wootton at centre-back in place of Carrick and I'd be delighted with that team. That's not to say that Carrick can't/won't be sufficient there, but surely Wootton would benefit more from it? I'd be amazed if Fergie ever deploys Carrick at centre-back again in a meaningful match so there is absolutely nothing to be gained from this experiment tonight.
I'm excited to see Powell play from the beginning tonight, and in a more forward position too. I'd also like to see Macheda, Cole and King get some game time also.

This is the first CL group game thats basically meaningless for about 2 years, I'm gonna enjoy being relaxed watching it.
Carrick is like a shark - he has to keep swimming or he drowns.
I don't know why Petrucci was kept at the club and given a new contract if he never gets a game.
Looking forward to seeing Powell tonight. I expect him to break through to the first team sooner than expected.
