They need the confidence boost of new owners ASAP or this could get even worse.

I don't get how new owners will help boost the confidence of the players? What they need is for their organization to stop saying that they aren't good enough via asking for money to spend on new players. All that says is that the players are crap, if we had money we would get rid of ya. They are their own worst enemy.

Of course it would make a big difference. If some billionaire takes over this month then it changes everything. Torres can look forward to big investment in the team and stop sulking. The fans are upbeat and optimistic again. The players who are coasting get their act together because they know there will be new players arriving in January.

They'll be very fortunate to get 10 points the way they're playing at the momment. They could fairly easily come out of that with 5 points.

Everton will beat them IMO. It would take something horrendous performance-wise for Liverpool to win that game. I know Everton are level on points with them but they have actually managed to play well this season, unlike Liverpool and are just coming off the back of a great away win, unlike Liverpool.

Every year I put €1 on Pool to be relegated. Just for luck. The odds are usually 1000/1.
This year the odds were slashed to 250/1 on Paddypower. I put €10 on :-).
